  2. lol its the other way around, if we go, im making him drive LOL. my system wont be done for SBN most likely, he has the 2 15" BLs in his escalade.
  3. oh damn, i didnt even notice, we're all in florida. lol
  4. start off with the floor. look under the car and see where you can make mounting points. go get some 2x4s, 1/2" or 3/4" lag bolts, washers, and nuts (however long of bolts you need) and use the 2x4s, and bolt them to the floor. use 2x4s to get a level surface, and then put a piece of 3/4" mdf and glue and screw it to the bolted down 2x4s. you now have a flat surface to work with, and start building the box and slide it in, or however you like. i put some liquid nails under the 2x4s, so the 2x4s arent directly touching the metal body, might help with small annoying rattles/squeaks that might occur after a while. just an idea. heres some pics of the wall we built in my 97 explorer (not in anymore) see the bolts? leveling up the floor
  5. i was joking. my grandmothers diabetic, and thats happened to her before, luckily it was just into a small ditch though. i know how that goes when your diabetic.
  6. lol go figure, some retard, prally driving to get his eyes checked, and thought that was the parking lot.
  7. in other words people, not worth 489 + 120 shipping, LOL
  8. lol nothign special really...just a simple ported box, with internal bracing, and holes cut in the braces, so airflow to the port isnt blocked, i guess.
  9. but for real, it sounds straight. we need to get ur other sundown hooked up for real..i dont even know if we need it...then youll be pushing those subs to the limits
  10. hmmm........who tinted those tails?
  11. 04 mini cooper new it was 37k i believe, bought by my uncle then sold to my dad a year later for like 27k i think, with only 7k miles then a year later, sold to me, for 20k, with 12k miles. still new practically. i pay 401 a month on it. oh, and i didnt put anything down, lol.
  12. as title states.
  13. youve convinced me. im gonna leave them. i watched a MINI crash test. front collion...side airbags didnt go off. im a very cautious drive so i should be OK. plus, if i get hit on the side, i have more things to worry about, or not, becuase i may be dead. i dont like thinking about that though...kinda scares me if you think about that for a minute....
  14. headliner is already covered, what is this JB weld you speak of? like a contact cement?
  15. the wall itself has gaps on the side, that isnt really the problem. the problem is the front trim panel ("beauty panel") that will seal the gaps on the sides and top. its going to extend all the way , thats going to be right ON the airbag....that piece of birch is going to go flying if that thing deploy's.........ill have splinters in my asshole LOL!!!
  16. im in a Mini cooper...small enough and unsafe as it is LOL. but ya, i just did some research. The bag then literally bursts from its storage site at up to 200 mph (322 kph) -- faster than the blink of an eye! A second later, the gas quickly dissipates through tiny holes in the bag, thus deflating the bag so you can move. per this article- http://auto.howstuffworks.com/airbag1.htm so, it bursts out pretty damn fast, but deflates so u can move in less one second: The whole process happens in only one-twenty-fifth of a second.
  17. ok, this is a diagram of my car. the 2 long blue lines on the roof are airbags. they run under the headliner, from A pillar to C pillar. they're "curtain" airbags, so they like unroll and drop down, covering the side glass, etc. anyways, notice the red square. thats going to be my wall. whats gonna happen if i get in a wreck, even a minor fender bender that happens to set off those side curtain airbags? the part where the wall is, its not going to have anywhere to deploy.......any ideas on what i can do?
  18. on my headliner, i have a plastic trim piece that goes around the cutout for my sunroof, to make the cutout for the sunroof have a nice edge. it just sorta pushes in and sits there, its fine now, but i have a feeling when i put my MT in, its going to fall. while i have the headliner out now, i want to glue this to the headliner and clamp it down over night. what would be the best way?
