Audiopulce/ Tc's New Distributor
unknownuser200985 replied to Chris D's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
cloak go check there prices again... they've gone down.... the ultra is a sq sub.... tc sounds(audiopulse) has been around quite sometime since 1986 irrc so no there not a new company and yes they know very well what there doing.... http://www.audiopulse.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=54 more information about this topic there quick question do any of you know why the ultra is so expesnsive ? -
though your answer is well thought out im going to have to disagree though the mms is greater does not mean larger woofers will sound slopper or muddy for that matter... alot has to do with the overall design of the subwoofer and the enclosure for that matter.. yes the damping factor does play a key part in the control of the woofer but that has nothing to do with the actually subwoofer itself... either way a 12 " can get just as deep as an 18" in the proper enclosure and a 18" can get just as crisp sounding ...

you have to also consider ohm rise plays a key factor in how much power your subwoofer will receive. Also thermal handling goes down with lower ohm loads as well as efficient but it is much cheaper and easier to run at a 1 ohm load which why you notice him home theater you will see mostly 8 and 16 ohm interfaces for cleaner more efficient more idiot proof setups but will also bring prices way up. This is a very large category and you may just want to ask more specific questions. also this might help http://www.forum.realmofexcursion.com/showthread.php?t=4388

alright first to reach your goal lets start out with a budget if it hasn't been already stated... as for the tc sounds(audiopulse) subwoofers they are a really good choice for this , $2000 msrp is retail. No one pays retail for anything unless your a moron. There is a 5400 15" on roe for sale for 700$ if that's to high up your budget you may wanna look into soundspilter's subwoofer's.

Thinking About Building A Computer
unknownuser200985 replied to 01xtreme's topic in Computer Talk - News, technology, advice
if it hasnt been already stated , picking out the parts for the computer is the hardest part, the actual building is a cake walk these days pretty much every part is color coded and only fits in one way, unless your doing liquid cooling which isnt that hard itself its pretty much idiot proof compared to the old days (before petium days) -
i saw that a while back... they had one with a v12 as well

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/return_policy.php#7 the one year warranty will take care of it... after 1 year 90% of the time if the amp fails after that its useally user error and if you need a longer warrenty then that go pay the extra 300 and what not $ more btw who pays msrp even from a local authorized dealer

Computer Power Pulses
unknownuser200985 replied to Cdizzle's topic in Computer Talk - News, technology, advice
i was helping my cousin build a new computer, we found out it had something to do with the ati video cars... they have to be directly connected to the power supply before any fans etc. Useally it would boot for a quick flash on and off, you go to turn it on again and itd work prefectly.Akso another case we found in my computer was the OCZ quick connect power supply cable must be in prefectly tight or it incounters the same problem... goodluck otherwise -
