yeah man, just keep checking on caco daily. thats what i did. i joined there like last week and i just got that amp for $480 shipped. but they seam to go pretty fast so check frequently and im sure one will pop up soon. i saw the ones on eby and i was shocked to see hem at $1000. good luck man, hope you find one fast.

small towns do throw some good parties, i will give them that. my town is only about 2000 and everyone knows everyone. ive only lived in this town for about 3 years and i talk to people like they have known me for 15 years. one of the worst things though is the whole dam town shuts down at 9PM if you want beer, its either the gas station which closes at midnite or the bar, and they all SUCK

i know 9000 watts would be nuts. that why im thinking i should go with 2 4500's. 4 3000's might be to excessive and more expensive lol

yeah, i hear they are nuts. there are some on ebay for preorder for $1100. i also see that they are tested at 12.8 volts where as the 3000 was tested at 14.4. at least thats what the website says. thats pretty cool, thats why im kinda leaning toward 2 4500's

i would be hooking the 3000's up to dc lvl5 15's. one amp per sub. im going to be going with 4 lvl 5 15's. i know they are rated at 2000 watts but i have been informed that the amp and sub would be a good combo. i have also thought about doing 2 SAZ-4500's instead of the 3000's. what do you guys recommend. i realize its a lot of money and work but im up to it. its gonna take me some time to get everything around but it would be worth it in the end. let me know what you guys think. just trying to get the best setup i can. thanks

i know they dont make them anymore but i have a chance to buy a few of these for 650 each and it seams like a good deal, is that a good deal $650 for a SAZ-3000?

i checked the sundown website and it said that it was 1 ohm stable. i am wondering if its .5 ohm stable. i know this must seem like a dumb question but im getting ready to buy my stereo or at least some of it. so if anyone knows that this amp is .5 ohm stable please let me know. im trying to keep all the noob questions to a min even though i have been into audio for almost 10 years. thanks for any help

i figured i would let everyone get a good laugh on my expense, thats how it used to go when i was working ALL THE TIME. i am now using chrome and i havent had one popup, which i used to get with explorer like every minute. it sucked

Since the forum had changed a few months ago i was using internet explorer, and the site wouldnt work right. i kept having to change the format and then it would stop working. it worked fine at my dads and sisters. and then i come back home and it wouldnt work for shit on our comp or my in laws. so im getting pissed and then i realize at the top of the forum it says the best browsers are mozilla firefox and google chrome. so i exit out of the window and got to install firefox and i realize i have google chrome or whatever it is and my dad and sisters computer run firefox. so now i feel not only real stupid but releaved. i can finally enjoy the forum and not have to restart every 10 minutes. thought i would share my moment.

ok, after checking the dc site, i dont think ill have enough room for a ported SPL setup for 4 18's. i think im gonna stick with 3 18's. less money in the end. thanks for the advice and if you have anymore suggestions, keep them coming. im still researching this stuff and hopefully i can start this soon. like i said it will prolly take some time but ill get it done. last system took over a year with a 7 month gap in between.

well it would definately take some time to get everything around, but thats why im doing the research and making sure i do everything right.

yep a wall is the plan. im actually gonna try and do 4 18's. i fit 6 12's with no problem so they should fit. not sure what im gonna run them with but something BIG. the only problem is finding the room for the box, but ill make it work.

yeah, boxbuilding is going to be my emphasis along with the gains. im getting everything sorta maped out right now and then when i get it all figured out, im gonna start buying eberything. im hopin to find someone who is selling like 3 15's and i can get them at a good price. im just doin a lot of searching and comparising right now. thanks for the advice

i will have to email them i guess. no biggie. i would like to do 3 15's if possible. it will be goin in the back seat of my deville. i plan on getting a 300 amp alt from iraggi. its still a toss up on the amps. i have thought about Rockford, audioque, and sundown. i will be going with xs batteries. it might take me awhile to get everything doen but it will be my dreamcar when i get done, HOPEFULLY. and by the way army_guy,hows the install goin. ive been trying to keep up with it but there is like 25 pages but eveything ive seen looks real good. cant wait for the vidz

my bad i thought it said 2500. well 2000 is still very good. i will be doing all the electrical upgrades as well im just trying to build my dream system and im almost there. if only they made dual alt brackets for an 01 deville, that would be tha best. i will be getiing everything i need as far as supporting the system. anybody know off the top of their head how much a new lvl 5 is both 15 and 18. just wondering if not ill just get a hold of dc. thanks for all and future advice

i am thinking of getting some lvl 5 15 or 18's and was wondering how much they can safely handle RMS wise and not have a problem. i know they are rated at 2500 watts RMS but has anyone ever given them 3500 daily and not had a problem. im pretty sure these are the subs i will be going with im just doin all the research i can and looking into every aspect. thanks for any advice guys.

there is not a word to describe that, if i were him, which im thankful im not. id put tha stock rims back on and try to sell those beasts seperately. i bet hes got $10k into those rims easy. he'd have alot better luck wih the stock rims on. but like everyone says to each their own
