Time to move on to other things and these subs need to go. I have 6 total all 6 have the RE logo painted over on the dustcap (long story not worth telling.) 4 are in perfect working condition (with the exception of some bondo dust on the cones) 2 have RTV patches on the surround and still function fine. $200 each plus shipping for the 4 $175 each plus shipping for the two with flaws. I also have a motor and recone available to make a fresh sub for $275+ shipping all coils are dual .7 RTV patch top right RTV patch bottom right

Shes responsible for the damage she caused, she has to pay whatever it will cost to return it the condition it was prior to her doing the damage. If she agreed with you to hand you the cash then she has nothing to fall back on, if she had requested to pay the repair shop for the damages is the only way she would have a leg to stand on. Needles, not calling you a lair but you story is pretty hard to believe.

Well put, but at the same time kinda contradicts itself. Putting them on blast for not bettering themselves and supporting others but then making excuses for you to sit home and run the daycare side of things. 6 figures is enough to pay daycare and put someone through college.... I agree with cats like others, something else to check is the accordian boot from the air filter box going to the throttlebody. Its not uncommon for when these get aged to become weak and sometimes collapse restricting air flow. Mine did it about 6 months ago and was similar to what you mentioned of being able to rev freely in park or neutral, put it in gear and it would take off fine until it hit 35 or so and fall on its face. Originally thought it was the cats as well, pulled them at the collector and had the same problem so it ruled out the cats. Stumbled across the accordian boot while look at 02 sensors and it was the problem.

Its time to let this thing go. as title states 1989 astro, 4.3l engine, NOT A DAILY DRIVER OR EVER WILL BE. Has relocated 2 gallon fuel cell under the hood, original tank is in the junkyard. Has the full xenon bodykit, Eagle 212 20 inch wheels, wrapped in 255/35/20 wanli high load tires. Is painted a flat/primer/hotrod/ black, needs resprayed on the body kit and one fender. For the right price I will handle this, for the wrong price I will include the paint for someone else to do it. Windshield also needs replaced. Box is setup 6 15's write now but can be change to your heart's content $3500 without batts or subs or amps. Yeah I hate on idiots that take advantage of situations, if you fall into that category so be it.
