  1. Not gonna lie. I only skimmed the OP's post, then read your comment, then had to re-read OP's post to see what you were referencing. Too funny!
  2. That part down the bottom? Only way I can think of is to cut out each letter, fiberglass a long piece of plexiglass on the inside of the rear bumper, then light that up with LEDs. Not 100% sure how you'd want it to look though. This kinda makes me think of that Razorlite stuff Ed used in Trippi's box, but idk much about it or if it'd be more of a hassle than plexi and LEDs.
  3. It's a dual-reflex bandpass, referred to as a 6th-order bandpass. I don't have nearly enough understanding of bandpass designs other than simplistic 4th orders to be able to tell you tuning frequency or much anything else about it.
  4. You could try using Google's Public DNS privileged EDIT: No guarantees this'll work. You may need Admin privileges.
  5. Oh man. Definitely get in on SOTM. It's a good mix of subs. The JL's are nice and smooth, but those Kickers must punch you in the face! I bet this thing gets loud man!
  6. 9 feet x 1 foot = 9 square feet 9 feet x 9 feet = 9 feet squared = 81 square feet
  7. Kranny, That's over half an hour of Dr. Oz. You must be out yo motherfuckin' mind. Sincerely, Maxim
  8. I just drive around listening to a straight 33 hz tone at full volume.
  9. 12 volts is kinda low in the car audio world. Try to shoot up around 13+. A good alt will get you there and keep you there. Doesn't have to be a 200+ amp alt either. Like Kyle said, a 180a alt will provide enough power, especially at idle.
  10. Hells yeah. He takes them all, puts them in a blender, and makes a completely new song out of it. So good.
  11. I love Fi as much as the next guy, and have installed several Q's myself in boxes I hand built, but JL subs have to be some of the cleanest I've ever heard. The Q's pounded and were louder, but JL does make some solid subs, however overpriced they may be. In the right box, a 13w7 sounds cleaner than anything I've heard. Although I'm yet to hear an SMD, which from what I've read has got JL beat hands-down.
  12. Ah I love mashups! Never heard of Milkman before but they sound pretty good. DJ Earworm is my favorite. He fits songs together so well. I'd love to go see him DJ somewhere.
  13. I've never used resin in any of my boxes. Only time I've seen it used other than for fiberglassing is just to coat the inside to seal up the pores in the MDF. For all the boxes I've built that seemed like overkill, but if that's something you think you'd need i'm sure it can't hurt.
  14. Damn. You guys can be so helpful when you're not being dicks. Bring a tear to my eye! Gotta agree with everyone in here. Headunit first. That Sony's only got 2 volt preamps. Get a nice Alpine with 4+ volt outputs and you'll notice a clean increase in sound.
  15. x2. I'd assume "in" means in phase (0) and "out" means out of phase (180)
  16. If you connect through a dock connector, it's playing the digital sound right out of the iPhone unamplified, so it'd be the same as a CD. If you're connecting through the headphone jack, don't put the iPhone at full volume, as it may clip.
  17. Lol it's his first post. IDK if he knows what ROE is yet If not, here you go! Realm of Excursion Test Tones Right click -> Save Target As
  18. If you can find one quote of me bashing PA, I'll personally come to your house and shake your hand and give you a million dollars cash.
  19. BWAHAHAHAHA calm down mah niqqa. No need to be a tough guy over the intertubes. Also, were we talking face to face, I probably couldn't hear you over the sound of 139dB's coming from your trunk.
  20. Are you saying I look impressive? I'm getting mixed signals here.
  21. I don't care how weird this sounds, but watching someone stick their ass up someone else's ass would be impressive.
