  1. Here's the pictures that were in the magazine. Of course they're a lot bigger on a full page in your hands but it gives you an idea lol
  2. Yeah if I black out my tail lights I'm not half assing it. I'll be sure to make them look perfect
  3. This car already has a Mugen bodykit, front grill, and spoiler. I wish I could like show everyone the magazine because the car looks so much better in the pictures in the magazine because it was in the light and not in the shade. I guess I feel like this color scheme fits the car. All the guage cluster is digital and shines the blue of these rims, along with some of the other interior lights
  4. Racing stripes on a Honda? It's not even a fast Honda lol it just looks pretty
  5. This is a horrible visual representation of what it could look like, but I guess it gives SOME sort of idea... The black would obviously be more glossy and much better looking than this (and even possible carbon fiber as opposed to just black) and if you look in the link, the wheels are actually much brighter and better looking than they appear in this picture.
  6. Reading through a magazine at a local audio shop, I found this 370z and I fell in love with the color scheme. http://www.dodo-logic.ca/?p=4163 How do you guys think my CR-Z would look with this color scheme? I would be doing the following: -Painting black or putting carbon fiber vinyl on the hood, roof, mirrors, and hatch to the spoiler -Blacking out the tail lights -Possible LED's or something creative with the headlights (the 370z has blue halos) -Bright blue wheels with the chrome lip Note: I would NOT add a side vinyl. In the magazine, there are brands up the mirror side of the door instead of that strange pattern and it looks much better. Idk just a thought and I figured I'd share it here
  7. I'm pumped to see the outcome of this. So will every team use the same vehicle and same equipment and then see who's build turns out the best? Or who's is loudest? I wanna know more about your idea
  8. I think you would be better off putting the sub on one side and port on the other side instead of using two ports for one sub. Two ports might work, but I've never had any experience with it. If someone else has, I'd love to hear from them and see how it worked out. If you run one port, bump it up to 9x15 instead of 7.5x15 and you should be good Edit: Thinking about it now, two ports may reduce any loading issues you may have trying to use one port. I'm not really sure. So 4.5x7.5 for each port in that situation
  9. As for electrical, you're set. We all hope the hairtrick ends up working out for you, but don't be upset if it doesn't. A nice hair trick on one 18, while possible, isn't all that easy to do. Wish you the best of luck
  10. A bigger box would be more efficient at the expense of a broader frequency output if I'm not mistaken
  11. There'd be a lot of factors that go into it besides just box size and power. It's definitely possible, but whether or not it's possible in your situation is hard to tell unless you do it and try it
  12. Your port needs to be even bigger now that you've increased the size of your box. You'll need about 140-150 in^2 and then however deep your port needs to be. Try and find a balance so that if you multiply the size of your box by 16-18, you get the in^2 of your port. Does that make sense?
  13. Your box is around 5.5 ft^3 after displacements so you want the size of your port to be around 85 in^2 or so. However you can get that, be it 17x5, or 8.5x10, or whatever will fit in your box. You want at least 80 in^2 and then however deep it has to be to get your tuning And if you have to, you may want to try and make the amp racks a little smaller so the box itself can be bigger to make up for lost displacement
  14. One sub. Port is 3x15 15deep The port should be at least 6x15 and then however deep you need it to get your tuning. The small problem is that in that scenario your box may be becoming TOO small. But maybe not. Try it and see what happens
  15. The 18 has twice the cone area and twice the motor force of the 12. The 18 is capable of being much louder.
  16. It was definitely a female. There was the Boston Chicks atomotive club thing or whatever, along with the whole makeup kit and mirror behind the arm rest. Like Suki from 2 Fast 2 Furious
  17. This. No matter what the number is, the only way to know how it really sounds is to hear it in person and the way it sounds is all that matters!
  18. You're different though...your port is on the wrong side for legal dash metering. This is true, my setup was built without even considering numbers. Just trying to make the OP feel a little better, you know?
