go get a sheet of 3/4" mdf and make a box to the specs of your subs...

how about 2 AQ hdc 12s.... if your going for spl why not just get some good subs that can take alot of power? instead of mixing subs like that...

i love those bose ones..... i listened to the dre ones at BB they sounded good but i rather have the bose headphones....

time to buy a new sub.......

skip the caps and go for a battery.... try the amp at 2ohms and see how it does... if it fries buy another cheap amp..... there are some guys on here that for like 10$ some do it free i think who will design you a box and give you a cut sheet... all you would need to buy is some glue and screws and a sheet of 3/4" MDF.... the mdf is about 30$ a sheet at home depot and lowes... glue and screws are cheap....

both have there advantages.... plenty of awesome boxes out there hitting hard with no flex that used dowels..... use what ever you like best... if you dont wanna see the nut at the top use the dowels.... me personally id rather buy a 1" wood dowel and use it over the allthread.... JMO though....

no if you have no electrical issues caps are really good stiffening up your power at peaks... but if your not set up properly they dont do anything beneficial

i agree with marlo... maxxsonics has a great how to vid on youtube on how to do the big 3.... upgrade your bat under the hood and then add a second batt to the back... after that then if you still wanted a cap would it be worth it remotely.... if you have no electrical issues caps are great but if your having problems they dont do shit...
