so im gonna be starting project accord soon... 94 accord lx sedan... im gonna install a full eclipse system for loud SQ... but i dont know what to do power train wise... im gonna rip the motor out and tranny and have them 100% rebuilt.. now the problem... do i bore the engine over and just go beefy all motor or do i set it up for a power adder... im not out to race this car... just make it sexy... i want some performance but im not looking for a 10second 1/4 mile car.. just want it to get out of its way and sound good... what would you do?

id go diablo... im planning on using these for a future set up in design right now...

type f is the best to use.... if anybody tries this do not rev your engine let it idle only....atf is a lubricant and you have a little oil there but not enough to be revving your engine.... ive heard of people doing the antifreeze....never seen it done and doubt i would ever try that one...

i got a 15" orion HCCA i was considering selling... ill prob have it on ebay this weekend

best is to actually change the oil ( cheap oil and filter) let it idle for about 20 min then rechange and use the good stuff... for older engines i go real cheap i drain the oil add 3 quarts atf type F and a quart or 2 of oil fresh cheap filter and idle for 10-15 min... you would be amased at the crap that comes out...

ahh so there is a good following of them here... there price does suck if your on a budget but they are the best IMO

been lurking for awhile... just registered the other day to start posting and im curious on one thing... why does nobody use eclipse head units? i see alpine and pioneer being the top 2... i ditched both of them to go eclipse those 8volt preouts made a large improvement on my system back in the day....

i would love to do it.... i would deff do it in the accord before i rip the car apart and redo it...

thanks to this site im gonna try titebond2... but everybox ive ever built was stapled and liquid nails 3/4" MDF or plywood.... never had a problem... either fiberglassed over or carpeted and called it a day...
