  1. for a little more money you could get some kicker 15's, ive personally never heard or seen any of those, they just look cheap to me.
  2. they look like funky pups without the logo just in black. i dont think they would be worth $100 bucks
  3. hehe nice, i'll keep my fingers crossed you don't demo the whole ceiling onto the hoe lol.
  4. it does push them pretty good, i'm thinking about upgrading my subs to either 2 12 inch dc subs or maybe a aa 18 my truck is pretty big but to be honest these 12's knock pretty good for sealed enclosures. i have a box design from accordman that i will be building for these that is vented,i know that will also make it hit harder. also i'm looking to get a bigger amp and use the t5002 in my 74 cutlass in the trunk. thats in the near future. anyways thanks for all the input guys i appreciate it. like i said i'm not new to this stuff at all but it doesn't ever hurt to ask questions. i'll have to see if i can dig up pic's of my old system i had in my 74 cutlass 4 fosgate punch 12's behind the drivers seat.
  5. i followed the wiring diagram on the fosgate site so i think this is already the way i have them.
  6. thats why i asked about it before i pulled a stupid move and blew my shit up. ok now i got a question for you since you know more about my amp then me. if its only stable a 2 ohms bridged if i wire each dvc 2 ohm sub to 1 ohm to each channel will that give me full power? right now its hooked bridged 2 ohm, birthsheet which i know is in a perfect situation and voltage at 2 ohms all channels combined (bridged yes?) says 733 watts. total rms @1 ohm 1129 so can i wire my subs different to take advantage of more power or do i have it in the optimal now with the way its wired?
  7. gotcha so instead of trying to wire my amp lower than it can handle i will get a better amp with more power and wire it accordingly. thanks again guys.
  8. does it matter if its sealed or vented? my amp is the rf t5002 doesn't say its .05 stable. i'm not planning on running out and blowing my amp i was just curious if it could be done is all. I'm gonna buy a new amp and subs as soon as i can anyways, looking at DC or AA but not set on that yet. and amp most likely fosgate. thanks for the imput though guys i appreciate it.
  9. can someone tell me how to figure this out, ok i have 2 dvc 2ohm subs and a 1 ohm stable amp it's wired at 2 ohms currently but i'm wondering if i wired it at .05 ohm if it would kill my amp or would rise play a factor to where i would be ok? sorry if this is a noob question or if its been posted before. my current boxes are sealed per specs but i will be building a vented enclosure here soon.

  12. sounds great, thing has got to be knocking pretty good.
  13. i didn't mean take the btls out i mean unhook them therefore not doubling airspace? would be sweet in the civic also.
  14. i'm suprised you didnt hook those 2 up in your box with the btl's unhooked to see how hard they knock, there pretty sick man. congrats
