Question
Skullz replied to manofthehour's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
With what he's wanting to do it would more like a 4way bass sub bass setup, may or may not do well on how well he makes the enclosure and powers them. He would be better served doing a setup of 15" subs and a 10" for midbass as thats really what he is after anyway. -
Biggest problem is they need 11cf each and they're 8ohm singles but hell it would be something to see 4 in a wall hammering away.

Anyone build a sub enclosure out of aluminum?
Skullz replied to westvan_dude's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
I'm sure you could but i think with it being so acoustically live that it won't sound so good, but really only one way to find out. -
can i use these batteries???

You proved the point that you only see what you want to see. It says SEALED LEAD ACID and there is nothing misleading about it. Granted people that see that and overlook the sealed part will think its a wet cell battery but it isn't. -

So much disinformation from you guys, it clearly says its an SLA AGM at the bottom of the page and hell yes if you can get em for 70 a pop i say do it. -
Expanding foam

You could tape some paper towels, rags or something that will let the air pass through it, or as someone else i seen do it by placing plastic in the entire interior till it dried. It only needs a few hours to dry to the touch on the outside. -

Most of all the great stuff products need air to dry properly and when you remove the air from taping them closed they won't dry. -

Never heard of them but then again i don't hunt for places like that either. What is it that you need them for anyway? -
Audioque 3500 for .5 Audiopipe 3k for 2ohm Depends on what your running and willing to do.
-
Does he have d2's and if so use this to wire it bridged as thats the most he'll get out of it at 4ohms. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qty=1&woofer_imp=3
-
Run each coil on each channel instead of bridging. EDIT: most multi channel amps run 4ohm/2ohm per channel and 4ohm bridged
-
Yes, but your better off running it at a higher ohm load than to just run the 1 coil.
