Nice start. We've all got to start somewhere. My very first system was ALL Optimus.

I bought a pair of these from Nightshade a few weeks ago. I'm currently using one of them, and I don't know if or when I'll ever get around to installing this one, so I might as well sell it. It's BNIB and was only opened for pictures. Very impressive little sub. Gets pretty low and loud. Single 4 ohm VC and 300 watt RMS rating. Looking for $60 shipped with insurance to the lower 48 only. If someone REALLY wants both subs, I'll do both for $75 shipped with insurance.

My dad was talking a while back about how he turned up the bass on the factory radio in his truck and it was pretty cool. I wish I had extra money laying around so I could do something like this for him. Looks good.

Thanks. It's my first in about 5 years. I ran various systems all through high school and for a few years after, but lost interest for a while. Somehow I just happened to come across Steve's videos on Youtube, and the bug bit me again. Some more pics: I had to cut the carpet off the box because my old sub was just a hair too big for the hole, so I had to enlarge it. Ended up blowing that sub and picked up two of these Clarions really cheap. This single sub is VERY impressive. It gets pretty low, and is decently loud. Definately not what I expected from a company who's subs you don't really hear much about. This is a 4 ohm sub, so my amp is giving it 300 watts. Not sure if I'll end up running both of them or not, but this satisfies my bass needs for now.

Well, I decided to finally put up a log of my vehicle and simple little system. Here's what I have: 2008 Saturn Vue Stock HU 4 gauge wiring (Tsunami and Power Q) Stock door speakers MTX RFL600D Single 10" Clarion SW1051 in sealed enclosure The amp was installed by L&H Mobile Electronics of Topeka, KS. Good bunch of guys there. I plan on upgrading the sub this summer, but can't decide what I want to get. The stock door speakers sound really good, IMO, but I intend to replace them eventually. Alright, I played around with it and here's what I got:

I tried several times, but none of them turned out. Basically there's a small, light brown spot on one of them. I'll try again later and see if I can get something to work. I do have some pics of the tinsel leads sewn into the spider, but you can't see the burned spot. Also forgot to mention that shipping is to the lower 48 states only.

First up for sale is a 10" sub that I had built for me by ssackett. I ended up burning up one of the tinsel leads and decided to not worry about getting it fixed. So, I'm selling it as a DC Level 3 motor not as a working sub, but it can be fixed. Other than the lead, it is in great condition. It's got less than 5 hours of play time on it. Looking for $75 shipped with insurance. Second sub is a 12" Adire Audio Shiva. It has dual 8 ohm coils and is still in working condition. If I recall, it's 300 watts RMS, but will get loud on much less. It likes large ported boxes, but I always ran it sealed and it never let me down. I hooked it up about an hour ago to test it and it works fine. $40 shipped with insurance. A few pics of them side by side: Both subs are OBO.

So will they take 300 watts daily?

This too. My wife and daughter don't bother me, but anyone else getting in "my space" makes me anxious as hell.

This. Songs that I knew had lots of bass are just blowing me away. I'd say that this sub outperforms any pair of 12's I've owned. I guess that's not saying much for my past setups, huh?
