also every time i try to tune a box to say 28-30 hz my port is always too small for recommended. Is this normal wouldn't that cause some sort of port noise.

Ok so im finally going to start my build on my truck. My question is 3/4 5 layer birch doubled better for a baffle than 3/4 MDF doubled. I got a sheet of each for free and have to use both for this build. here is pick of them side by side. This is my first build to include birch so kinda excited to see how turns out.

im lookin in ordering a new DC 18 i want to do comp and daily. So could i get say a Dual 1 ohm and wire it at 2 ohm daily and .5 ohm for comp. I have 1/0 ran through car with just a red top out back and factory under hood. Will upgrade before doing this just wondering if it can handle it. thanks ahead guys.

there is a comp in Billings this Sunday the 15th last one well be having this year pretty crappy but that how it is here ive heard there will be a few people from up state will be showing up including skavenger from Great falls. At least thats what ive been told

best bet is to do two more cone area more air. need to be built right with the power and electrical to back it up. i haven't used a BTL only a BL 18 but great sub no hair trick but enough pressure to rip the mirror off the glass. I have fallen in love with DC Great products. Try whatever suits your style and budget. I recommend upgrading you electrical Larger power and ground, Big 3, Batts,H/O alternator... and always fuse everything correctly. The Electrical system is like your heart if it fails everything else does too.

i say look around through the build logs. get ideas from there great builds great people. lots to learn. its hard for someone to tell you what you want. too many variables

Ok ive got a quick ? Is it safe to run a 1500D at .5 ohm for comp and 2 ohm daily if i have a good electrical system to back it up? thanks in for any comment.
