  1. similar woofers well, sa12 and skar vvx12.. all roughly the same design just different things about each woofer that separate them from the others obsidian 12s are nice, my friend has one in his girlfriends car on an aq1200d @ 1 ohm, and well.. it gets down really nicely
  2. yeah i was just thinking something along those lines, it was over 90 days ago however i have somewhat some good news, well really good news in my favor i called up paypal, and spoke with one of their agents, she was actually really nice.. had a 30 second convo about how she has family up where i live (weird i know lol) she said that paypal usually reads the sellers response and investigates before deciding on whether or not they will fight the dispute with the bank she said that since i have such an outstanding selling record i was eligible for the sellers protection program, which im glad i called cause i had no idea it existed. Basically what it says is that paypal does not have to do further research on my end to decide whether or not they want to fight the dispute with the bank, they will AUTOMATICALLY fight the dispute with the bank and do no further research on me due to my "outstanding" selling record (guess i sell a lot of shit eh) and another good perk about the sellers protection program was they took the negative amount from my paypal account (it was -26x.xx) from the charge, and canceled that and set my account to 0 (where it previously was) she stated that no matter what happens now, whether the bank wins the dispute i will have no money lost and that once the money is in my bank account (which it already is) that it will be left un-touched by paypal or the bank so what i got out of this is that well, no matter the outcome with the buyer's bank, they wont deduct any amount of money from me
  3. It's not a refund though, he's requesting a charge back for an "unauthorized purchase" through his bank Even still it's been over 90 days, ima be giving paypal a call in about an hour do you have any pms from him stating he received it or anything like that? if he's doing a bank charge back and you have those it could get real interesting. I never received any direct PMs from him after I used USPS to ship it via paypal however

  5. Yea I saw that I'll send the email addy involved an email asking what's going on
  6. he shipped to the dudes address, im sure he doesnt need n8s expertise lol Lol yeah I got the guys addy already, there's not much else I could do I considered sending an email (not a hate email) but wasn't sure
  7. It's never too late to add to the dispute. anything that you can give them is only going to help your side. I tried to add, there's nowhere that allows me to respond I've had claims before, both for and against me, all worked out previously for me but this one looks different, prolly cause it's a chargeback dispute and the bank of the owners CC that was used is the one who Started the dispute
  8. Guess I'll have to give them a call when I'm outta class in 2 hours
  9. Do you know why the guy used a chargeback? Is he claiming the item didn't arrive or wasn't as described? If he never contacted before today about the HU, then he might be out to screw you over. Provide Paypal with as much info as possible. Tracking #, link to for sale thread (if applicable), etc. If PayPal feels they have enough to documentation/evidence to dispute the chargeback, they will fight on your behalf. If PayPal feels they don't , then the buyer keeps the funds. CALL PAYPAL AND ASK WHAT IS GOING ON! Ask to have the HU sent back to you. I never gotten any messages about the HU not arriving or working, it's been a FULL 3 months since the unit arrived, I already posted them tracking info - never thought about for sale thread..is it too late to add to the dispute?
  10. It's fucked cause they'll get a full refund from me and they'll have the HU on top of that However, the HU I sold was for a friend of mine so I'm not taking a hit so he better pay me out
  11. back on may 26th i sold him a pioneer dvd unit. today i got an email from paypal saying the buyer is requesting a charge back through paypal, now my account is -260 bucks, and he got the unit wayyy back in the end of may is there anyway i can resolve this so i DONT take a hit? i went through the payal resolution and it said i can respond via providing tracking/proof of shipping information, so i did but anything else?
  12. cant go wrong with any of the sundown lines of woofers, or amps
  13. 2 sundown z12v.2s with v.3 soft parts, 3500ish watts..but power don't matter if the design is efficient as fawk 3cubes or so 36w, 15.5t, 20d <---max 14 tall would be beast and shortest possible 32-35hz Trunk car, subs will be facing the cabin, and port will be firing back (6" aero) Almost like a CRX box, just a design i thought I'd shoot for Aero can be internal, external or both
  14. nice man, my girlfriend is the same way heres her build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/108956-2002-dodge-stratus-build/
  15. Hey BeALLsTaR13 are you using an aero port? ? You can see the slot port ..... ^^^what he said lol lol it just pops back in yeah im surprised their hitting lows like that not sealed off.. im just too lazy to seal it atm lol well its fairly hard to compare a "600" watt sub to a "1500" watt sub, especially since the z12s like smaller boxes than the sa12s these, to the ear are by far louder (havnt metered yet) and anything from 29-38hz it just kills, especially in that 31-34hz range
  16. boyd heaton has his 175.4 @ .35......
  17. thanks i just cant wait till they break in should move quite a bit more when i up the gain, im a hair over 1/4th right now, im usually perfect right past 1/2 gain
  18. Finally got my new Z12 v.2s in they bang hella hard, and will play fairly low
  19. i have had my saz3500d wired to .45-.5 (changed with boxes) since march and have had not a single issue.. amp hasnt protected once, nor has my amp seen below 13v.. never even gets moderately warm
  20. i got a 3k i can do 510 shipped
  21. [quote name= Gem132' timestamp='1312466972' post='1635252] How much power your running to them man ? they look like they getting down sundown saz3500d @ .5
  22. Not true, completely different, sundown is it's own. DC, AQ, and crescendo are all alike. You'll find that most, if not all of those amplifiers seem to clamp their rating (crescendo 2k struggled to clamp 2k after a rise to 1, only about 2058 IIRC) where as it is expected that a sundown amp will clamp about 500w more than what it's rated..and that's at about 12v IMO sundown is unique in it's own way, and nothing can compare to it..well unless someone feels like going the Direct Copy route..ahem
  23. meter was sealed on the dash and what you mean by noisy port? shouldnt have any port noise out of an aero unless the back isnt flat
  24. expect a solid 4k on good electrical if you can keep rise to around 1 ohm on the saz3500, i wouldnt expect more than rated out of the dc on good electrical if rise is kept around 1 ohm
