  1. Oh yeah- the quality is definitely above what you'd find on eBay and stuff, and they're backed by a legitimate warranty it seems. I just noticed if you check the last pic, you can see me in my Nike shirt...looks sick IMO
  2. My cousin ordered up a set of 6000K HIDs for his '99 S10, and called me to install them. I think the set with the relay harness set him back less than $50. These seem to be a quality kit for the price, but time will tell. On to the pics... Came out a little whiter than I expected, but I suppose that depends on the housing and stuff. Let me know what you guys think.
  3. Picked up a DeWalt 14.4v driver, two batteries and charger at Lowes for $99.99. Lowered from $180. Go grab one if you need a reliable drill...
  4. Subscribed. Here's mine if you wanna take a peek...TheBrian1
  5. Happy 4th of July, SMD! After hella BBQ and whatnot, I finally got around to snapping pics of a couple things from my basement I wanted to sell. Check out my feedback thread here. First up is my QSC RMX 850 PA/DJ amplifier. These go for about $350-400 new online. No problems whatsoever- this thing has served me very well. 10/10 functionally, 8/10 cosmetically. (scratches from use- oh well) 200W/channel @ 8ohms (stereo) 300W/channel @ 4ohms (stereo) 430W/channel @ 2ohms (stereo) 600W @ 8ohms mono bridged 830W @ 4ohms mono bridged Asking $200 + shipping. Up next is the center tail light/reverse piece from a 7th gen Impala (2000-2005). Minor scratches, includes all mounting nuts and wire harness. Asking $30 + shipping? Make offers on that one. Third item: My HPI Savage 25 Nitro R/C truck. Powerful as all hell, very capable, very fun. It has been sitting for months, however, and will probably need a new glow plug and fuel lines to run. ($20 max to get it running again.) Otherwise in EXCELLENT shape, and had been run for less than 3 hours. It was never really that practical for where I live. Will include glow plug igniter, remote, and electric starter. You can check it out on HPI's site here. Asking $150 + shipping. CUSTOM KEVLAR 12" MOVED TO CAR AUDIO FOR SALE SECTION
  6. Banned for creating such a blasphemous thread on Amurricuh's birthday.
  7. 1337 metric tons. But really, 7801. Lol wtf it's 8500? Good god.
  8. Everything this guy said was dead on...except that little inequality in the last line
  9. I have an Intel E8500 running with about a 1GHz overclock, but that's on a P45 board. Everything changed with the switch to the iX series...I'll look into it and get back on here.
  10. My only complaint at ALL with the Zs is that the clutch engages in the last like 10% of pedal travel...makes stop and go traffic a little tricky. Enjoy the hell out of that car!
  11. I believe on the video description or in the video itself it says sub-$139. Good news if you ask me.
  12. @Paul M and n8ball, what size Optimas are you talking about? I got a group 34 Red Top for around $175, which I thought was a decent deal.
  13. Hell man, even after seeing that- I still think you offer some kickass stuff. Like this 12 I've got here....
  14. Just have a listen...I used a program called VirtualDJ Home to cut up some loops from Party Rock Anthem (LMFAO), and put them over Give Me Everything (Pitbull)...decided to make the result public. It mixes major and minor key signatures, and I fidget with the volume too much. But I do encourage constructive criticism. Click plz Party Rock Everything
  15. The conclusion: I decided to see what was up with the wire going to the speaker getting very little signal. For shits and giggles, I hooked up the 12v supply to the speaker end, and went up front to check the voltage at the dash. Nothing. Walked around back, and the supply is ticking and refusing to start, which it does when there is a short- interesting. So today ended up with pulling off trim panels to find the short, cutting the wire, soldering extensions in, and re-routing up a roomier pillar in the car. All good!
  16. Interesting twist... took out the deck, rigged it up on an 8A 12V supply I have, with an old JBL 5x7 on the passenger rear channel (one that's quiet as hell in the car) Sounds perfect. No buzz, static, whatever- and the signal is strong. SO, the problem might NOT lie in the deck or harness at all- are the speakers somehow all blown to hell?
  17. Bump. Had it repaired at an authorized service center near me. Receipt said they re-soldered some internals, dusted off the inside, and that I should check my installation. I have a fully soldered harness I made up for this deck when I installed it, and I made sure to run brand-new Knu wire at the time. SAME shit happens, including the passenger rear getting maybe 1% of its signal. What the hell?
  18. I finished up my freshman year at college just a couple days ago, and thought I'd make a place for other people getting off school to check in! Job hunting time...
