The duplicolor clear has a flex agent in it.

I wouldnt use it. Get duplicolor clearcoat. Its in a spray can and u can get it at auto zone, napa etc...I have used it for similar sized parts and worked really well.

Tell him audio or drugs. You could be doing stuff alot worse than messing with car audio. Ask him to talk like men and let you argue your point about your hobby vs. other things you could be involved in. See how that works.

I wouldnt recomend using it. It can have alot of affects on people around you not just the person or persons you want to use it on, if its windy or inside somewhere. Maybe go with a stun gun

Agreed. But what I get when talking to shops is that they havent heard of x product they assume they are no good. Shops here are all mainstream(nothing wrong with that)but they dont want to educate themselves on what is out there and what people are runnig now adays

An isolator is not needed. If the batts are ran correctly they will be fine. Shops around here say isolators are needed. 1) so they can make a few more dollars. 2) the lack of knowlage they have they dont want to self educate them selves.

I think most companies under rate there products just for simpelness of the average user.

Look around the forum at some boxes that people have posted on here. There are alot of great designers. I look at alot of designs in here. I talked to Decaf(sorry decaf to drop your name) acouple of times till we both fig. out what I was really wanting. He then told me what was best for my set up and designed an excelent(spelling) box. I did the "help me"post and learned that guys on here are so tired of seeing it. Maybe there should be a thread for people to show there designs who want to make a few extra bucks on the side. Sorry so long just throwing my .02

I saw alot of Clif around the mid-late 90s. from what I remimber they were not bad(i never owned 1) If I recall Cliff and Zapco hooked up a few times on projects.
