I was so close to getting those cards before my rig dead. I know the 9800GTX perform really well. I know they are nasty in SLI.

You picked the perfect card. Adding a second would guarantee there is no game you couldn't play. Liquid cooled would be icing on the cake. I personally wanted to go SLI GTX 480, but my PC crapped out, so I'm going back to car audio for a now. On an off note, I wanted to play the game Metro 2033 so bad. I need a PC capable of doing that. With two 470s, you could whip it.

I don't know what kinda music you listen to or how cheap you are, but a lot of stereo shops sell DVD music videos. When you DL videos, quality in audio/video is usually lost. If you are into rap/hip hop, there are a bunch of websites that sell them.

ah, my kinda thread. They are nice card. There a tech site I goto and the people love them. I know they are monster overclockers. If you are hardcore, you can put GTX 480 bios on it and probably get close to that kinda performance. This series of NVIDIA cards scale very well. You would see huge gains by getting another. Got a couple of Qs. What resolution are you gaming at? That would be a factor in adding another. You sticking with stock cooling, going aftermarket, or liquid cooled? That also determine how well it would OC and if you wanted another. Most people say one is plenty. I know they are strong cards.

I may be talking crazy, but I think battling imp rise is out of our hands. It is something that has to be tackled at the engineering stage. I'm assume that why JL's and now Rockford make constant power across the board. I don't know who else I'm leaving out like Alpine.

Subs work properly? They are decent for a reference line. I've heard 6 PR 12's walled and I, myself, was gonna do 4 PR 15"s walled in my truck. The box tuning is probably playing a role in this more than anything. 650 is good power for two.

Your said it can be programmed with XP or Vista, correct?

How do you guys know this? I believe old Powerbass was built by Memphis? The PBX series was some of the most slappingness shit I ever had.

In the thread about my man's Ground Zero 18", I discovered TC Sounds makes their woofers or some of them. Any other big name company make equipment for smaller brands? I think that's a great way to find decent deals. I don't know if DD/AQ or Rockford/Lightning Audio have that type of relationship.

Ha, if you can't laugh are yourself, what then? So if an amp can handle going under 1 ohm and rise makes it does that, your getting more power? I think I'm getting it Please don't hit me....

Sorry guys, I'm a little slow If your speakers are at 1 ohm with impedence rise, does the ohm load move toward .5 or back toward 2? I once had a setup that was supposedly 1 ohm stable, but once I played it for about 30 mins, it would start to cut off. I'm guessing if was from the ohm loads were being thrown off.

I'm just wanting to get peoples opinions in this. I'm alway discovering new brands that make really nice high-end equipment, but their prices are usually high. The brands I recently discovered were Ground Zero Audio and Hertz (I know about their comps, but the make nasty subs and amps). How much do you guys think is the maximum you should pay for a quality product? I not asking how much you would pay, but the maximum for quality. I think $1000 for a good 4000+ watt amp is fair. I would pay accordingly for the increase in power. I think for $1000, the Cadence ZRS-6 is the amp to beat. Subs are kinda tricky to me. I could see me spending $1000 for a sub if it could have a ZRS-6 without sweating. I know subs like Steve's, FI, T3, TC Sounds, RE MT etc. are all good, but vary in price.
