I love when someone tries to tell me their setup is the best way to do it. And JL audio is like God in the 417. Dont get me wrong, i like jl stuff, but for the price you can get the same quality IMO. Someone always tells me their 500/2 and their w3 12s are the loudest set up in town....

yeah its bull, and i just got the door panels back on, and had my emergency switch unhooked, Thats what i get i guess lol. i ordered some new ones. we'll see how it goes, ill put up pics of installing them. After dicking with it for an hour one of the sales guys at Verizon comes out and asks "you need a jump?" i lol'd and said yeah go a head ill pop the hood you crank her over! lmao

Little story, I drove my hatch up to Verizon wireless to check out getting a new phone. I go in, the sales guy pisses me off, so i begin to leave. I walk out to my car, hit the door button on the key fob. And nothing. door doesn't pop, not even make a sound. hit the other side, it makes noise, still doesn't open the door. So now im really pissed off. locked out of my car at one of the business intersections in town! I dick with it for two hours, just to the point of throwing a big rock through the window of the car, one of my friends shows up with a truck load of tools, long story short i got into the car. But now both door solenoids arent working, power to the keyless brain but solenoids are dead. I ordered some this morning. I just wanted to share my angry story with yas.....bring on the "cool story bro"

Im guessing you are looking for DC subs since you posted in the DC section? I would say level 4xls would handle it just fine

Are you talking about the tuning of your sub or the box?

I have only scene it happen twice, and both time in vehicles that are 04' and newer, so I'd say if its a little older car you'll be fine. New cars are too fragile

I would just disconnect you air bag sensor or remove the fuse. Ive scene them go off, and ive seen some high numbers not set them off, so it CAN happen. Id remove one just to be safe. Just my opinion.

yup, my favorite part is they are looking at yours, saying how their buddy's was so huge and killer loud. Then when you bump yours for a minute they tap out! lmao

I just wanted to add something else i love about having a loud system, is being able to parking lot pimp your ride out, and have the whole party's music blaring from your car. And if you can hit the right note to make the girls squirm in the seat, its a good night

I just love music, having a system is just a great way to enjoy it. And its nice to be able to make people tap out once in a great while, or move some hott chics hair

well as of right now im using two PA fubar 12s. Ive had 1500rms clamped to them for a long time and they hold up very well. but i sold the amp and need a replacement. planning to be using two lvl 3 12s in it. I have plenty of battery power and wire. Just don't have very deep pockets at the moment. And its just a daily so it doesn't need to be crazy loud lol

Im looking for a new amp for my daily driver. I need to be around 800-1200rms at 1 ohm. nothing crazy expensive, even a clean 600-800rms would be fine. Im working on a very tight budget with the new addition to the family growing like a weed lol. If anyone knows of something please throw it out here for me....thanks!

Money is the route of all evil. If money didn't exist the world would be a lot safer place to be. Then again, people would still steal lie and cheat, so it would only fix a few things. Money brings happiness, things you want, girls, respect. But then people respect you for the wrong reasons, girls want you for the wrong reasons, and you gain friends who are there for the wrong reasons. In the end you are alone.
