I hate cc companies. I screwed myself over years ago outta HS with a cc, and recently just paid it off...their a waste imo

I've seen car detailing businesses that come to you, but it amazes me how people will pay 30 bones to someone for a car detail and wash. Then again I'm a gear head, no mechanic, or washbkid touches my truck but me. But as long as it gives the next man a job, great for them...

I had a good post a while back explaining how they all have their pros and con, and how with business and shipping your bound to have problems. Ohio gen, HO alts, Powermaster, Iraggi, DC power, Mechman, DB electric...they all have their pros, and they all have their cons. So you better believe for every persons 'best experience ever!', there is someone who would never buy from them again...

If your running a W3 then I'm guessing your not running much power. If that's the case just get a bigger front battery. Although the XS is an overall better battery, the optima yt should be enough to get you by

I like a couple tracks, including movie, the one produced by hi-tek, and a few other ones. It's different, but it'll grow on you

Sorry Toady for the late reply. My life the last week and a half has been busy as hell. But to comment on your situation....The alternator sounds pretty much busted. I never had a problem with my DB elec since I had it. However I will say the same thing I tell everyone, regardless of where they buy it...Go to a shop and get your new alternator tested before you even attempt to install it. It saves you the headache in the learn run man. Its basically just an insurance policy on your end. Sorry it happen though man

I have a 03 Trailblazer and I'm currently having an electrical problem. My alternator is charging my batteries at 15.xx, how I don't know, and it's only started this recently. So I'm not sure if it's my alternator or alternator module. I took my back battery off and it's back at 13.85 on it's post, but the power running from the front continues to be high. I know a few people have this truck, and wanted to know any input. My plan is to take the alternator off and get it tested, but would like to pin point the problem if I can, due to the snow fall here.

Trying grounding at the Deck first.

Ground your RCA output at the deck (more than likely this is what it is, happens all the time) Try a different pair of RCAs Make sure all grounds are sanded down to bare metal

Yes sir it is. Im studying to get my MBA now, and hoping I can open a shop eventually after I open a drafting firm. Believe it or not, alot of people do this, and you can be fined a hefty penny and federal time. I would advise him not too.

Are your decks RCA grounds loose? Are the amps grounded to one location? Are the grounds sanded down to bare metal? Have your tried swapping RCA wires? Have you checked you voltage with a DMM at the Amp, battery (front/back), also the ohm load?

Subs shouldnt have any effect on the cars electrical. Only the amps current draw, but thats another story. just do the necessary upgrades and youll be fine

Dont buy a cap they dont help at all...period. First since you have a slight dim off 250rms, I would do the big 3 (Youtube search this, shows you how). Then upgrade your front battery to a beefy front battery. Maybe a Kinetik 1800, or Powermaster, or even Optima. Also 8 AWG will not work with 1500rms, invest in some 1/0 AWG for anything over 1K rms. If not expect a bong fire in your car
