So a buddy came down and bought a crossfire amp from me today and we were fuckin with my system. We played it with the center compartment up, then while it was playing we flipped it down and there was a noticeable difference. So my decision is to find a back seat out of a 300m that flip down and lay my amp rack down flat and add some fans. My amp is only 2ohm stable and Im running it at 1ohm so it gets hot in about 20 minutes and goes into protect. So fans are def. needed. Also Im thinking about some hush mat or fat mat. Im thinking with all of this I should see 140+. Which is awesome for a 400.00 watt amp. If Im happy with the number after that then I will keep the setup I have until I blow the subs then I will try something new. So in a few days I will get some pics of my back seat swap.

well thats shit. Oh well. I blew this L7 and threw it in my back yard. Thought I would see what I could do with it.

Not really into jl anymore besides the 12's I had I only had 50.00 in. I would upgrade subs but I don't want to have to upgrade amps too. Most of these subs, fi, dc ect... are way more than what my amp can push. Hell I think my amp is only 800rms at 2ohm and 1200rms at 2 ohm.

So today I went and had my car metered. 138.2db at the windshield. Im pretty disappointed with that number. I had a jeep with 2 12w1's and crossfire 200.1 amp hit 139.1. I know a lot of my problem is where my amp rack is. also my back seat doesn't flip down. I am debating on what the next step will be. Maybe a ported box will be better. But I suppose for what it is its not to bad.

get you some cylinders, they work awesome. Way better than the strut bags in the front. Also if your cross member is touching the ground you will have to raise it or get an aftermarket cross member. but from the pics, it doesn't look like your close enough to the ground to touch the cross member.

I would only buy and sue the old school amps of theirs. The one I use is the 20th anniversary chrome edition and I love it. I wish I could find a few more. Back when that amp was new it sold for 900.00. Im happy to have gotten it so cheap. Thanks man. I try to keep all my stuff clean.

This isn't the greatest quality video. I just made it today and my camera sucks but you get the idea. I see on a lot of videos when something rattles or moves the person likes to focus on that, well I did this as well, mainly cause this is a new song to me and I wanted to see what all would rattle or vibrate.

I remember have a few sets of the Jensen xs subs. I liked them for what they were. I personally think they were better than the Kicker Comps Also no offense at all but xplode amps are junk

Thanks man. PPI are my favorite amps. The one I am using is mint its a pc1400, def under rated. I have had many of these art series amps. I mainly buy them clean them up and resell them. But for some reason this one has stayed with me.

yea, I haven't been in the audio thing for a while. But for what they are, I like the ones I have now. I would like some better but I don't want to get into 1ohm dvc and shit, then I will have to get different amps and shit and will cost me more money in the long run.

yes they are. I stated that above. I am debating on keeping the art series and getting 2 more 15's but then I will have to redo my entire trunk and I don't have the moneys to do that right now. They hit pretty hard. I would rather have some w7's but also can't afford them either haha
