  1. 4-12"s 153.4db 48hz street box in hatch of blazer barely moves hair in window but i have a friend with a cut through 2-15"s 152+ 46hz hair tricks all day and can float a bottle like they weigh nothing but it a single cab ford ranger . cabin space, tuning and cone area all play a factor.

  3. where is the best place to have a port when building a 4th order bandpass wall style for a headrest score ?
  4. depends on impedance rise voltage numerous things there are many clamp test available to give you an idea but without knowing your rise it would be hard to say .
  5. in a 4th order build what is this best place to put the port as this will be for a headrest score. i know there will be alot say drivers side which works great for dashboard score but would a port in the center be better to create some turbulence for higher headrest score? this build will be for 8-12"s .
  6. more cone dont always mean louder sometimes your power can be spread over to many coils and wont be as loud so just test test and test some more!
  7. i got my 1100.1 today seeing good results at .5ohm i hear you can do a rolling burp from them at.25ohm but have not tested that yet cant wait to see what happens with your van .
  8. are you burping with the visors down seats forward as far as possible back of seats straight up and down vents set to floor and defrost and close the dash vents that face you usually if you do all of this you will see a nice gain .
  9. i have been thinking hard about a 4th order build in my blazer but after seeing this my mind may have been changed .i was thinking maybe i could try to put 2-18"s in it if they would fit then i find this post .i have 2-3500d's to play with i would love to see them at 1/2 ohm each wired to a couple of 18"s .
  10. jacob i live for your builds sundown is taking over the world one basshead at a time!
  11. i need to hit up a meca show soon see what this blazer can do in s3 or s4 i guess thats what i would be in depends on fusing i think i might do a big build with 16-12"s in the near future and see what i can do im sort of undecided on that because i want to drive this vehicle to the shows so i may just 4th order 8-12"s instead @.5 ohm per 3500d and add more power if needed.
  12. when people ask me what they should run i tell them sundown audio and when they see me make people bail out of my blazer they are believers.im the guy that pulls up at the show cranking it up hard and have a crowd before i get it in park lol and demos demos and more demos even for the people i go up against i tell them they just want to run my batts dead joking with them of course lol. sundown is great

  15. i was thinking about running the z v.2 12"s but i think a saz-3500d per sub might work better on the nightshade v.2 is there a date for the release yet? i need to break some more stuff in the blazer
  16. i will be upgrading my system when the nightshade v.2 are available and then a little later on 2 more 3500d's

  20. maybe the ns 12's would be better for me then what is the mounting depth of the nightshade and magnet diameter? maybe i could just add another baffle and they would clear my ports.
