go to walmart and get the biggest yellow top everstart battery they have, also get the 6gauge amp install kit, do the big 3 with that and save the left over wire for the future. it should cost about 120.00

So that's why I m thinking about the extra battery in the back search ebay for the seller- coppercableman he has great wire for the cheap. optima battery from costco, or even the biggest yellow everstart battery from walmart would make a big difference. ring termals they sell cheap at ace hardware. also look up the big 3 thats what you need to do in 1/0 gauge

wire can be had at any local welding shop, ring terminals can be bought at ace hardware,as for a battery i would just get a optima yellow top from costco, there return policy is forever

i hooked up my friends chevycaprice with the 135A ex cop car alt,big 3,extra batt in the trunk and 4gauge power wire with 150A anl fuses,2 fosgate 800a2 amps and a cheap orange powerbank amp. we had a cap installed and it says around 200amps somtimes. i believe it because it has a optima in the trunk and a auto zone yelow top batter under the hood the fuse hasnt blew yet?

i know there is a sub that is around 200 shipped than can take 1500w daily,rather it be a single 15 or 2 10s. if not ill buy 6 hifonics 12s that can be had for around 200 shipped from online car stereo

nope not true 10s sound more punchier in pre fab boxes and 15s sound more boomy forom further away some pre fab sealed boxes are okay if they are caulked up to prevent air leakage it depends but usally dont over power a sub even with gains down if you have to ask the quistion

ya they changed the build desighn, try some rockford p2 8s they sound good a friend had 2 of them on 400w and they sounded pretty good, most peaple thought it was 2 12s or 1 15 never thought they were 8s tho
