Do not waste the money on an isolator. No problem running different sized batteries. Most people can fit a 3100 under the hood, but run one in the back and there is no problem doing it that way. If you are running the 4k for daily use then the 1200 under the hood and 3100 in the back would be fine. If it is for competition use, then I would suggest something larger than the 1200. Don't forget you can always move your front battery to the back and not have on under the hood.

No way to tell you. To many variables including wiring, actual alt output, competition/demo/daily use, and many others. All I can tell you is if the amp is actually pulling what it should, then you will see some drop.

16V system charges in the 19V range.

Nothing for the Fords. May want to check with Mechman and see if their module will work for you.

So your voltage will not drop down? Don't have a real time to give you on it. Just have to send it in and see whats wrong with it and then work to get it fixed. Dip switch configuration depends on the version you have and should be on the instructions that came with it. If you need help with it just email [email protected]

Thanks man!!! Hate you had issues with the order and sorry it had to drag out so long. I knew that wasn't the standard for that dealer, so something had to have gotten mixed up in the system. I try to handle things the way I would want a company to work with me. I drop the ball sometimes, but those things are going to happen from time to time unfortunately.

yea that worries me, but then why would the put 16v ratings on the site?? maybe i could just do a 14v system Not sure why they would have that on there. Would be a good thing to ask them. It may just be a mix up on their site though. That can happen pretty easy. May check the owners manual that comes with it and see what it has for max voltage.

That's crazy. They have 1ohm @ 16V on their site. Well with this being said stay with both alts going to 12V or go with some amps that can take a 16V system and be 3X louder.

Yea if I do do it I will be giving AQ a call to find out the highest input voltage that the AQ2200D and the 3500.1D can handle I just tried to call myself, but didn't get anyone or a voice mail option.

aq2200d It says 1ohm at 16V, but its always a good idea to check with the company and see if their amps can handle a true 16V system. If it can handle a 16V system, then it would be crazy not to run it. HUGE difference in power from 12V to 16V.

Checking on it now. This is not the norm by any means with SSA. SSA is one of our top online dealers and have always handled things with the up most professionalism. I do not know what happened, but I am sure we can get if figured out.

Replied to your two emails you sent the same day. Can't ship a D3400 in a flat rate box. Didn't get a reply back from you on if you wanted to place the order for your customer or not. With you being a dealer I would really expect things like this to be handled via phone, email, or PM.

Found out what the mix up was on yours. When you sent it in our Returns systems was not up and running (due to moving warehouses and offices), so the VCM was sitting back there with the info you sent in but no RGA # on it. This was totally our fault and I will make it up to you. I have them working on yours now and checking if it only needs the new program loaded on it. I will keep you updated.

You sent in the harness as well or just the controller?

Sorry for the delay and non-communication on our and my part. I do not know of any messages to call you back at, but I am in no means saying one isn't sitting here on my desk along with others. If you call the office and I am not in email is the best way to get in contact with me. I hate letting messages fall through the cracks, but unfortunately they some times do. I am not in control of the VCM project, so all I can do is pass along the information I am given from production. We were able to get a few (10-12) out to customers that had orders and returns in for a few months now, but are now out of stock again. I just checked with production again and we are looking at around 3-4 weeks on the next run of boards to be finished up. This production run will be larger, because the first run had to be tested to make sure they were going to work and didn't want to produce a run of 500 and find out they didn't work. I am sorry for the delay and if you purchased your VCM direct through us I can get you a credit on your purchase no problem. I just need a copy of the invoice or an approximate date the order was placed, so I can have the guys track it down. Just let me know. One thing that I would advise on the video is................................ step outside the box and do something that catches and keeps the viewers attention. Do something that is going to set you apart from the rest of the videos that are submitted. Just talking on camera probably isn't going to win it for you. AND HAVE FUN!!!!!! Way to many times does car audio get pulled into a childish fight over nothing. Put the fun back into it and we will all benefit from it!
