    How are the RCA connected to both amps? Each has its one sets of RCA from receiver?

    Yep 13 ohms on one side and 10 ohms on the other both wires were connected to the 4" coaxials. I tried playing with them unplugged and it still protected so that ruled out the ohm load possibility Is this on the second amp or does both amp protect still? If so, does both amp protect at the same time?

    If you wired correctly, the impadence reading should be spot on (or close) to what it is supposed to be wired to. If reading is deviate far from what it supposed to be then something is loose. Btw, how many speakers are connected to each channel?

    I have no experience on other type of boxes, so cant comment on them. But ported box has been great for me. 4th and 6th order boxes are tricky, especially when you do not have the tools. So i'd say port box...

    There isnt a single "best" box to try... If you really interested in finding that out, build.. Build.. Build... And rebuild! Generally box for dual 12's are between 3-4 cube.. I choose box size depending what subs and amp power...

    not sure what is overheating... your alt or your battery? whichever the case may be, not enough amperage capacity to fulfill the current demand will typically down your voltage. btw, how do you know "it" is overheating?

    You don't have to get DD.. Heard many great things about AB product. Love their amp though (got one currently). And there are alot of options for dual 12's...

    My 12's boxes are roughly around 4 - 4.25 cube net with single 8" or dual 6" ports... they are working out pretty well for me =)

    12's would still be a better options as you will have more room to play with.... I'd personally would do 12's.

    buddy has two... wire to one ohm each just for a test session and they protect like there is no tomorrow.

    So I just got these puppies... My electrical is no not enough to run both daily so plan is one daily... Strap for comp! Probably will have them hooked up tested by the weekend. Jake, need those parts NOW! jk i'm just super excited...
