  1. Oh thats a hood car where im from thats pretty tight, in los angeles especially in the hood i see that all day, a lot of people got beat on them too and they smash. Why not 2 15 subs they have more cone area than 4 10 and with the same amp, technically should be louder than 4 10. You need to find out if you can fit atleast 7-8 cubes total in your trunk, heck even 3 twelves will be louder than 4 10 but space has to be right.
  2. Cannot comment on them as i have never ran them. If you are running 4 subs then as long as they can handle 375 rms each then go for them. Does it have to be 10's because 4 kicker 12 cvr will match that amp pretty good although cvr need big boxes and must be ported. Research those quantums see what people are saying and go for it if its good.
  3. Yup even better they have been out a while, im actually might be using them in the future for maybe a 2500 watt plus amp.
  4. Are you sure they can take all of 750 rms, for that price im skeptical. Your final ohm load will be 1 ohm so that ap can be had on ebay just search audiopipe ap1500 and there are some reputable sellers on there like vmovation or something like that.
  5. I think i seen the one he is talking about for 239 on that website and its says 4000 max but then it says 1700 rms really. Usually that always leads to a thought that it is overrated even though i do not know for a fact. I bet it makes a little less that 1700 and for that price, that is not a good deal when you can get an ap1500 for 160 shipped.
  6. Overrated and not that reliable. However, what are you trying to run? If its not something major then it will do, but for that price look in to other brands like audioque or audiopipe. How many real watts do you want?
  7. Even as a laker fan i know its going to be tough getting out of the west, considering Kobe is not 100 percent all the time. But as an la fan i have to go lakers all the way and hope to see lebron in the finals to send him out of cleveland and in to a knick uniform.
  8. Also if its your first box and you are doing the cutting, use liquid nails heavy duty so it can make up for the almost perfect cuts. My first box it did wonders since my cuts werent the greatest until after my first box.
  9. The audiopipe is just as dependable as a crunch, both are budget amps, but audiopipe makes rated cheaper.
  10. Trust me with what you just named as your electrical, you will be well off with the audiopipe. Remember, an amplifier does well with 12 volts or higher. Your electrical will be more than enough for it.
  11. Just so you know, if your running 2000 rms, that is really not much of a strain on your electrical assuming you have 2 batteries. Dont go buying xs power batts unless you are running 2500 plus. I have almost 2000 rms total with two cheap batteries and i dont drop below 13 on full tilt, which is good for amps.
  12. I vote audiopipe or go mb quart dsc 1500, maybe aq 1200d 250 shipped.
  13. Well just know that if you upgrade to an amplifier that is just a couple hundred watts more than your old one, you will not hear a big difference in sound. You have to have an amp that does more than that to make a difference. Say your amp does 1500 watts, you need at least a 2500 rms amp to make it worth while to upgrade.
  14. Wow if your boss sounded the exact same as the 2500 kicker, then tell me the model umber of that boss amp cause i wanna try it. Im not kidding, sometimes these off brands will surprise you, i have an audiobahn amp that hits the same as my audioque 1200d.
  15. Yeah man homie passed away cruisin down long beach blvd drunk and powdered out(sorry if i cant say that) so when i drink its always with him in mind, toast to that.
  16. Its because boss might say 2500 but really its more like 800 rms, whats the size fuses you use on that amp?
  17. 1 ohm stable amp for 3000 rms you have lots of options, question is whats your budget?
  18. Cypress hill is cool but if you know los angeles like i do, they live in south gate which is not considered true mexican but more like 'high class wannabe' mexicans.
  19. Im not familiar with these subs too lazy (buzzed) to research, but can they handle 2000 rms each? if so, then look in to getting a 1 ohm stable amp that does 3000 rms plus.
  20. Why run 2 amps if you go two subs? I have no doubt you will want two subs after you get used to one sub, so for now go two subs and get you a 1 ohm amp that can push them.
  21. Jimador and cuervo is no good in taste compared to cazadores which has a good taste especially cold when those other ones got that uuuuhhhh! when your drinking.
  22. Do you know what the box is tuned to? Personally i would give them about 34-36hz tuning. But depends really on the music you play.
  23. Do not buy a box from best buy TRUST ME, ive made 3 boxes already for my different subs and all came out 1000 times better than prefabs. When i first started in car audio, i bought 2 prefabs online from the best sites, and all dissapointed me compared to when i built my very first one for less than $50. If you need a design ask around and you will get one.
