  1. I have a 1990 integra and the 70A alternator is not cutting it anymore. Its a pain bc even with the big three and a decent batt. i cant run my amp @ 1ohm so what would be the best solution for my car? could mine be rebuilt? or which h/o alt should i buy.. i want one that is fairly affordable but not complete crap either. i seen a 220A powerbastard are those any good? I knw the good ones are iraggi and dc power but i believe they have to rebuild it. any suggestions? thanks
  2. rockford is WAYYYY better. it puts out more at 4ohms than the kicker did. i dnt have a bass notch with this amp but at least its new and 1 ohm stable. I also like how its almost half the size as the kicker
  3. I have the new rockford 1500.1bd cp and i noticed the heatsink on it can get very hot! @ 1ohm it got real hot but even at 4ohms on say 15min of playtime it gets fairly hot so is that normal? or is ther something i can do to fix that bc my kicker amp didnt seem to get that hot, well mabey it did bc i always felt the top of the amp not the actull heatsink.. but anyways i also noticed a buzzing noise coming from the amp when i was testing it on the dmm. is that normal and what could it be?
  4. sodfamily- its pretty nasty @ 1ohm.. the amp does 1909rms at that load. I had it at 1 0hm for a while and it was LOUD. just as loud as the 2 L7s.. more trunk flex then captured in this video but unfortunlly my car cant handle 1 ohm it dips down to 10v then the amp cuts out sometimes do i didnt do a demo of it at one cuz i dnt wanna f up my car.. clouduz- box is tuned to 34hz.

  6. you might be able to do 2 15s in a trunk wall, port forward sub forwart sealed off... that wuld be loud!

  11. no. fully loaded BL would be like 340 i think.. point blank i would buy an fi new or used over a kicker.. 200 for a used bl ur doing alright. You f it up and you can recone it like that, what happens when you blow them kickers?? better hope they're under warranty..
  12. thats bone stock, you get it fully loaded your up to 430.. as far as the 200-250 price range thats what the bl's are going for used.
  13. first of all a BL and a Q are quite a step up from a cvx... and if you want a btl ur talking some money, i dont even think you can get a btl motor and basket for 200. But google fi audio, they have a site where they sell them.
  14. I want to trade my zx1500.1 for a ONE stable amp, preferably a SUNDOWN or audioque.. but just let me know what ya got, this amp is rated 750 @ 4 ohms, 1500 @ 2 ohms.
