  1. Okay guys just build my first box. On with the pics info later. Cutting the wood to size Pre drilling my holes Bottom back and one side attached Got the other side attached Planning on how to do the port. Decided to build it separate then attach it the box Done for the most part just got to cut sub holes. Got the holes cut and looking half decent. Out with the old in with the new.
  2. Yea it sucks, all i have to do now is call the DMV and schedule a date to take the test. Then get my license. I already have my truck and its still street legal so i drive it every now and again with the parents. So until i get my license i just work on it.
  3. Hey man no problem thats what this site is for Yea man i will Enjoy it i have to get my license back. Lost it due to not paying a ticket on time. They are making me redo the whole permit and drivers test sense it happened before i turned 18
  4. Yea that way when you attach the screws you dont have the striping winding around the screw.
  5. Okay just put some weather striping on the bottom, and are you serious? Predrilling and screwing? You dont know what the hell that means? That just means drill a hole slightly smaller then the screw you will you and screwing is self explanatory.
  6. You talking about the basket? Okay the only part that you need to worry about is the lip (where you put the screws) under that lip should be some soft (almost foam like) strip all the way around. If there is and its in good shape, the you are okay. as long are your sub hole in your sub box is not too small or big
  7. Well man on the back of most subs there is a strip that looks like weather striping already there. I always just predrill my holes and just screw it down. Its always been flush as hell with no air leaks.
  8. Agreed dont go with a adjustable port. I would go with 35hz like stated above. Should still be pretty nasty.
  9. The 4 12" definitely will pound like a motha. But i would check the spec sheets and make sure your going to have enough room. As for the 18 i think the require something like 8 cubes. I am not sure. But the 4 12" have potential. Besides i tend to stray away from kicker.
  10. Dude come to think of it i have about 16 ft of old tsunami 8 ga power wire that was givin to me that i aint going to use. I can just use that.
  11. Yea well for the nuts bolts and washers it will b under 5 bucks. For 4 of everything. My buddys has a kit with a ton of terminals in it. I could just get some from him and take them with me to make sure i get a bolt thats the right size.
