  1. is the jl am mono or 2 channel, both can have those same inputs and does it say bridged at all on the amp i could be wrong but never heard of a 2 ohm svc sub, ive only seen svc 4 and 8 ohm they r the 12" Fi X series subs Fi X series. im planning on getting 2 untell i can afford something better. and the amp says "non bridgable" right under the + and - My amp because its a momo amp, i think it may be fine, it has 2 speaker terminals but its still like 1 channel i think i think it functions similar to a 2channel being bridged internally, but not completely sure, as my sig states im a noob wait for further help =)

  3. yep i dont think duals are of very good quality, especially for the price of some of them, i wouldnt even trust their higher priced stuff
  4. its a dual honestly never used it, my friend has a dual now and it heats up his cds lie he put it in the oven, i doubt thats good my kenwood did that a little and i just cleaned the disc waited a bit and put it back in and it hasnt had a problem since
  5. lol, that was pretty sweet, camera wave trick for the win, look like one of those old school underwater effects
  6. ive never had jvc, but its owned by kenwood, and i know kenwood makes some good h/u's i would guess the arsenal series is like kenwoods excelon series in terms of quality
  7. congrats, not everyones firsts their own video, lol keep up the good work
  8. if no one has tried , then try uploading this one if i remember right there is a width restriction and that image is like 282 pixels wide
  9. dont seem too bad, but more expensive and almost half the motor force, and less power, but does come with a tweeter, so is that more of a beasty 6x9 coax
  10. same here, i personally prefer circluar speakers, but they are quite the 6x9 i had them installed and they looked factory, thanks to my factory cover, so people were quite surprised with the bas that came out, so they look in the trunk and see these little (big motor for 6x9) magnet hanging down form rear deck, lol then they realize there was no subwoofers although its easy to impress most people around here, but i did enjoy these and after getting my replacement i may get some more for my other vehicle although being discontinued i do not know how many of these are floating around besides the ones ram has
  11. if you read my post, directly above yours i clearly stated i had them in rear deck like a normal 6x9 aka free air they sounded great being installed that way, as i said it sounded good for how i liked my music with just these and no subs, my side mirrors would vibrate, with my setup (single 12inch sub) before i used these that never happened, so if anything they do a good job for midbass drivers
  12. these are nice 6x9s, i currently own them and they are really nice, just installed them in rear deck like a normal 6x9 and they did very well for midbass at least to my tastes i bought them from ram about a year ago im actually sending some in to ram at audiosavings to get some replacements, he still has quite a few left he said
  13. ive had great experience with crutchfield as well
  14. yea water should get the white part off, it may not remove the sticky part completely though, and goo gone can work pretty good normally
  15. quite the detailed message, but i do see many that could use a lesson, i just dont say anything
  16. wow, really even gangs got their own graphic designers, why cant i get a job, lol
  17. well, sorry i wasted your time ed, thanks to some restrictions by the teacher, i need to change this section to something else on the website, so i wont be needing this information right now ill still be sure to add you to the credits page though, lol
  18. I have not heard of that N8, yea i know dons been around for a while, i was pretty lucky he popped in chat yesterday, spread some history, sadly its harder to keep record in chat than on here, so some of it i dont have and cant rememeber all of it, but he told me about quite a few innovators of the industry, and people that were first to hit certain records or created certain types of builds
  19. DB-Don gave me lots of info today, i may ht him up to help me build some profiles for some of the famous people in car audio, he definitely knows a lot about many of them
  20. alright so i was right with the orgs that i named meca usaci dbdrag iasca are all those right, im more than happy to research the sites, just need to be sure i know that im looking in the right place to get all the info i need
  21. As some have seen I am doing a car audio informational website for college, and many have helped on a lot of the information however i dont want to bog my other thread down with too much because it will become a bit hard to decipher everything thats going on in my first post there so here i was ask for help on the different categories of car audio competitions there are, and the over seeing organizations, i think some are usaci and iasca maybe, meca? one of the pages i am making will be to give a short overview of the various ways you can compete in car audio and what you need to know to compete and another page will just be like a facts page simply displaying world records for car audio, i found some on termpro but i dont know if thats for all the different types of car audio comps or not i know it sounds weird that im doing something like this especially considering im a huge noob at car audio, but besides a learning process, this site is hopefully going to be a basis for something i plan to do in the future im keeping track of all who helps and i will be crediting everyone who helps thank you and much appreciated NOTABLES: --------- HHR Ed
