Hey all, I'm having trouble deciding whether to build my own or buy a powered subwoofer. my plans are for a 6.5" in a t-line or something of that equivalent power. this is for my dorm/house room, and probly will be used in my (2 car) garage on occasion as well. Can anyone tell me for sure what would be more cost effective? thanks! and ps, i do have room for an 8", up to a 10", but not really into spending that much bank on this. thanks!

My grandfather has an all-original 1966 mustang, she's a total bute. but for the last few months ive been dreaming and dreaming of throwing a system into one, with a nice big trunk and the soft top. ive done a little bit of research and can't find any good dealers/stores to buy from. can anyone help me here?

^^^^ yeah that's what i was thinking. only problem is they're so crappy that the box would have to be totally different for a new set of subs. i'm thinking about just doing one and getting a moderately-nice sub cuz i need it for my room anyways. any advice on amps?

haha pics and vids will have to wait a while. they're really just no-name speakers. I am also thinking of picking up some really cheap 8"ers to put in instead, like $25 each on audiosavings.com....just need to find a 120v amp for them

Hey all, my friend bought some crap speakers from a yard sale for 2 bucks, and he has no way of powering them so naturally i picked them up and hacked something out to get them playing. I want to build a t-line enclosure for them as the boxes they're in right now are complete crap. However, while testing them in open air (and in general) they sound like total crap. The cone feels like it's made out of heavy paper and has a super-thin dust cap, hell even the surround feels like it's made out of paper. My question is, would it be a waste to build an enclosure for these speakers? Im kind of a noob at this and just want to start messing around, but if i won't get any rewarding results i dont want to waste my time and money. Also, can anyone recommend a good folded t-line caculator to me? i'm currently using this: file:///Users/STU4073/Fun/dual%208%22%20t-line.webarchive but i want to build a folded design so it'll be more compact. I'm on a macbook btw. Thanks guys

just took another look at it and it also has AMD Athlon 2.64, vista (as i said), and Nvidia graphics. I'm a total computer n00b so hopefully this can tell you something

compatible with a compaq laptop? it's about 3 years old, I dont have it with me so idk much about it, but it runs intel and vista

Hey all, I'm lookin for a simple webcam for my girl to use (she has some off-brand laptop) with a mic for around $30 (under $50) not looking for anything super, but quality is def a factor-looking for a moderately good res and moderate FPS, res being a higher priority than FPS. Thanks in advance!!
