sounds like you need a tune up.

did you clean it before you painted it? And make sure it was completly dry before you began painting? And for the small cracks sometimes that can be covered up if you use a primer.

he already knows. I am labled possible asthma by my ssn it will come up no matter what branch i go to.

i mean it wont hurt it to paint it later that day just make sure you give it time to dry and you should be strait

yea lifting is when it ripples up or bubbles up, this usually happens when the surface isnt cleaned well, any slight bit of oil or grease will cause paint to lift, before we painted my car it was scuffed down with some 400 gritt, then i blew the dust off with the air hose, after the dust had cleared i tacked it and then went over the car with asotone, or prep solvent, paint thinner works too, then i tacked it again and then painted. Of course this was with a car and using a gravity gun etc, but its the same principal

i just spoke with the guard recruiter, i go meet him thursday, the bad thing about it is he is about 80 miles from me, but if i get in it will be well worth it, and for the record the tennessee national guard is lazy, and not willing to get off their asses to get me in, where as the Kentucy Guard said come on down it is our job to get you in.

thats what i was worried about that he will be able to eat me up off the line over and over again. I guess i will have to play it off as i gave you a lil head start then chased you down heh. and thats crazy hp for a malibu, esp for a famliy car.

when i first got into car audio a had a buddy with a tahoe and 4 13.5w7's when they first came out and we would go to parking garages and see how many alarms we could set off. It was great

yea i know my car isnt much on the take off i would like to have it accelerate a lil better. A couple months ago i raced a friend of mine who had a 68 mercury cougar with the 302 in it, with alum heads, headers, and exhaust done and he smoked me ass off the line, but i did catch up with him and when we got to curves i just kinda left him, but the fact he ate me up on the take off kinda bothered me and not to meantion he is one of those people who like to brag alot so i want to shut him up. So a header and exhaust would help out? The thing is i dont want my car to sound like a "weed eater" like i hear alot of the imports around here sound. But i know i wont be able to get that low rummble like the BBC or the SBC.

thanks guys, there is a lot of paperwork involed and the tennessee state guard recruters didnt want to mess with it so i am going to the kentucy state guard, and the recruiter has already told my recruiter i was using for the army he will do whatever paper work needs to be done to get me in, and he goes to a different meps so it will be completely different if i can get in. Also the kentucy guard has better avation units and that what i am looking into getting as my mos. If i get in and i am able to go active i am going to try to go special opperations.

i am going to go gaurd then go active, i have to call the guard recruiter tomorrow. Since it is easier to get a state guard waiver i have a better chance of getting in.

the blue that is on my car is electron blue pearl and it would look good on a pathfinder, at night it is a purpleish color and during the day it is a really nice blue, Also vivid blue looks good, that was the replacement for electron blue pearl on the Honda SI Civics, i like the silver that is on the 96 eclipse its called satilite silver, it has a pearl it it that is kinda a blueish purple, what year pathfinder you have? Maybe a two tone would look good on it.

when it is fixed if i get in the army it will be one color, it will be orange, i havent desided on the shade of orange but it will be orange.

for 200 cheaper with great graphics and has more titles out than ps3 i think otherwise

yea, i know they sell them just finding it, but like i said i am not worried about the car right now it is drivable so it might not look pretty on that quarter but i am not tryin to win a car show or anything with it. Not right now at least maybe when i get it finished later i might.

What are somethings that can help get a lil extra hp out of a honda civic with the b16a2. I am not really to familar with them since i was raise up around the small block and big block chevys so now that i have the lil four banger what are somethings that can be done to make it a lil quicker? The only mod i know the car has is a short ram intake, with a k&n filter other than that it is stock for the most part. You can refer to the show off section for some pix of my car.

no nick it isnt all mudded up, i have seen what it looks like a couple years down the road when people do that, and it isnt pretty. I would like to just get another quarter panel and be done with it, other than where it would be welded in would need some finishing.

its more frustration than pain, my car has been in 3 accidents since i painted it last april/may. The first two were not my fault, I wasnt even in the car it was parked and it was backed into, the last one i tapped someone in the rear end, it put a scuff that was about the size of a silver dollar on their bumper, only reason you could see it was cuz it was blue on a silver car, whereas it broke my bumper on the corner on the drivers side where it connects to the fender, and when the bumper poped out and broke it pushed the headlights and broke the plastic bracket, that screws to the front clip, it is not noticeable until you open the hood but i know its there so it is irritating, i was wanting to get the HID lights anyways. heh now i have a reason(or i think thats the name of em)

i got a yellow top in the garage i have never used, it was to big for my car, since it has a custom stainless battery box that istiny for the stinger battery i have. I traded some subs for it, when i had my regal and i was not about to let it go with the car when i sold it.

i personally am not a fan of the chevy grille, i like the GMC grille with the billet,or the bubble front like the escalade has with the billet grille, that bar in the middle of the chevy grille kills it for me. but anyways it looks good, i had a very good friend who had a 99 tahoe that was that same color, but has pewter on the bottom, and he had some 24" Lexani's on it and if it could be bought billet he had it, and it was very clean so i know yours will be the same, its funny looking at your reminds me of his tahoe and the good times.

i didnt watch the video but i am going to assume it is someone doing the hand laid pin striping from davids remark. I knew someone who used to do it around here and he was damn good he was higher than hell but he was the best around here. He was on a few shows on tv doing pin stripes on like 32 fords and such, on spike tv, on the show horsepower tv a few years back(i dont know if you all get that program i know it is filmed here locally and i havent seen spike tv in a while so i dont know if it even comes on anymore.)

Yea it stoped working completely for me now so i am using the older IE 6 and it works fine, i cant get it to remember me or show the icons on the reply, quote, report, etc and some avatars but it is no big deal. The appear with the title of the button with a x like is didnt load and when click show picture it wont load it but like i said it is no big deal

thanks, the extra time it took to tape up all the jams and trunk and in the gas flap and on it really made it look nice. even tho i was cussing it the whole time, cuz tape wasnt stickin to well in the gas flap area.
