and the cover i was refering to is the one that says 1920 watts on that amp, the thing that covers the connections for the t10001bd

sure i can answer that. I bought the amp from a friend who had it in a truck and it had some cover thing over it kinda like mirrai on the rf forum has his t40001bd, anyways when i bought the amp my friend had misplaced it. So i bought the amp anyways with out the cover and without the para punch knob, I called rf and it is like 45 for the cover for that amp. And well i sold the amp like 3 days after i got it since my buddy was asking about it and i turned around and found a bundle of suff on ebay that included my 2 100x2's, 400x4, 3 links, end caps, 2 1farad rf capacitors from the same era, a couple fuse blocks that look like my dsm amps, and my 2 12w6's with the money i got from the t10001bd.

i wonder if the covers ar cheaper to buy from them than from rf since i have a buddy who has a t10001bd thats missing the bottom cover.

but if you are showing the car off to someone all those wires make the job look tacky imo. If you look at my first install i did man it looked like hell but it got the job done and at the time i didnt care, but as i worked with it more and more, i began to work on it and my last install looked great, but was a pain to make it look good.

when it comes out i will be there to see it. i like those anicent greek movies with the exception of troy cuz it sucked, more of a glorified soap opra

i have seen shotguns in like a holder thing where the passenger seat is, but most of them here keep them in the trunk.

i am still finding new things on here and it has been up almost a week.

i had my audio equipment all together before i got my license or car. I had it just sitting the closet waiting till i got the car. now looking back 5 years later i still got stuff in the closet from back then that i never got around to installing because i managed to get something a lil better before i got around to installing.

I would do rims and tint at first. I am a fan of the painted rims, like black with the chrome lip or custom painted to match your car then have the chrome lip.

I used to clean out my desktop computer about once every 6 months, or when my power supply fan would start humming. I cleaned out my labtop a couple weeks ago and damn i didnt reallize how much dust would get in the small opening and settle in there.

thanks... me to i am getting tired of hearing the army say no, heh maybe with all this troop surge stuff they have planned i will be able to get in easier now. And talking to my recruiter he said this year has not been a good one at the office he works in.

Well first off for those of you who do not know i am trying to enlist in the Army, but i have been denied 2 times already, due to past medical issues. What happened was when i was younger i was diagnosed with asthma, and asthma is a automatic denial with getting enlisted, since they say it will affect your ability to do your training. blah blah, you get the point. Well i disclosed that i had been diagnosed with the childhood asthma and well for any of you looking to get in the military, it is not affecting you right now or has affected you in the last couple years you do not have it. I have learned the the hard and expensive way. Neways i went and did a PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) back in 04' and it showed i had a slight obstruction and the dr was quick to jump to say i had asthma, even when i told him i had not had any symptoms of asthma, then i did another PFT in 06 and it showed i had no obstruction and i was quote average, so to further test this i was given alburtoral (i know i misspelled that but sound it out ) and then given the PFT again and i showed no significant resonse to alburtoral so i was medically cleared of the possibility of asthma, or so i had thougth. I turned in my paperwork again, and was informed that my Asvab test had since expired so i had to retake it to submit my paperwork. I took the asvab and scored a 84 overall and had a GT score of 117, so i turned in my paperwork again and about 2 weeks later i was denied again. I was pretty upset about it but i kept on looking for another way to get in, and i think i found it. My recruiter was new when i first went to him so he wasntsure of what you can and cant do to get people in like challenging the denial of my waiver, with additional proof that i do not have any problems with what denied me. So my step dad went to talk to the recruiter and the recruiter he talked to happened to be my recruiters boss who also happened to be my step dads medic when he was over in desert storm, and he has provided a possible way that i can get in. I had to get notes from my JROTC instructors stating i showed no signs of asthma in my 4 years with the program, and i had to get my paper stating i did 4 years so if i am accepted and able to enlist i can get my promotion going into basic as a E-2, and i had to take another PFT this time with a drug that would show anything and everything that was wrong with my lungs. So today i went in and did my Methacholine Challenged PFT, and talk about nervous, well it took about an hour to complete that test and do some chest xrays. The methacholine put alot of stress on my lungs and made it kinda difficult to breath a lil but when the test was finished it was confirmed that I DO NOT HAVE ASTHMA. So i resubmitted my paperwork again and hopefully i can get in the Army now or i just wasted $500 for this procedure. So wish me luck i will keep yall updated.

sorry to thread jack, but what would you recomend as far as performance upgrade for a stock b16a2, well it has a short ram intake on it but i dont know if i would call that a performance upgrade.

not sure what you mean by a couple 12's blow the new fosgates outta the water, i think nick might disaggree since he is running the newer model subs. I havent had the 12's but i have had the newer 10s and well they were ok but i am not really a rf sub fan. I prefer their amps.

i would not do 8 of them because of the ohms, i would stick to multiples of 3 like 3,6,9, or 12. so you get the ohms right and dont have some off the wall ohms.

I demo'd the 8w7 a while back and i was not to impressed with them , now the 10,12,13.5 were great but the 8 kinda sucked. Also another thing to concider is the 8w7 is a single 3 ohm sub so getting the ohms to the right amp to them all would be a nightmare.

they say JL and 12w6 on the magnet. So yea they are not the v2 models. And no the subs in my avatar are my old 10w3v2d4's i used to have, but had to sell after i got a speeding ticket and then a noise violation.

i have no idea, i bought them with a bunch of old rf amps i bought in a lot. They both work, the bad thing is one of them needs to have the foam around the edge replaced. which there is a guy locally who sells the refoam kit for that sub and i might invest in that. I used the other one for like 2 weeks before i removed all my audio after my car was tboned. It still works fine, i just didnt want to have a bumpin system in a car that looks like hell now.
