heat the wires really well before you apply solder. Make sure you have flux core solder. This looks like a cold solder joint. The solder should flow into the wires if its hot enough and if you have flux

i did mine alt battery to the back battery to the second back battery to the amp screw the fuse holders who needs them

Some of the knu wire is aluminum with copper cladding thats what i bought it is alot lighter than the copper in weight not sure about performance i hope i didnt make a mistake 37.50 for 25 ft
