its going to get damp'd regardless with audio technix. its confusing because on some trunk set-up, i see both sub and port facing forward, some is sub up/port back. might. looks tempting. so im taking this big step and making a box for 1 18 in a trunk of a dodge charger. i made the measurements and its good for 8 cuft before displacements(ill fool around with torres calculator to get it to 6 cuft, 33hz). the question is, where should i face the sub/port? any help will be fine. thanks

i wouldnt have them touch my alt AT ALL. buy a DC alt or a mechman. spend the money on QUALITY work
