    with those dimensions, you have 12.68 cubes, gross after sub displacement, it knocks it down to 11.84 not to mention port, and bracing disp. dont think you have enough for all 4

    Gonna work on it! Especially since i plan on walling the 4 15's with 2 DC 5k's:) very nice! i have the same plan kind of, in my 97 burb, c pillar wall with 4 XL 18s on either 2 5ks or 1 12k or maybe 6 15s i dk yet lol

    i dont beleive the powerwerx 1/0 welding cable isint really 1/0...scott bowman uses that either fold some over or tighten that bitch down

    Could you maybe sand it down for clearance? Heating it would be the easiest way, and hitting it could crack the metal

    i had a AQ2200D powering a AQ HDC3 18" copper coils at 1 ohm with no problems what so ever my HDC3 18" is also for sale, hit me up if your interested ill make ya a deal

    ray ill PM you with specs on my current box and if ya can let me know the F3 and Fb, and ill most likly get a design from you. im possibly switching to a T2500BDCP running @ 2 ohms for the XL, so ill have to rebuild my amp rack and what not

    damn, learn something new everyday! now if i were to get a design from you for my XL 18", could you get it to where my F3 is well below my tuning? my box as of now i have no clue, cause i just used torres. or i could send you my dimensions and tell me what my FB and F3 is?

    i do play below tuning alot, mainly decaf songs though nothing to do with the low ohm load? No, ohm load won't make them stinky. You might not have enough electrical to support .5 ohms and cause the amp to clip but the ohm load itself won't cause stinky coils. good point, prob causing the amp to clip quicker the usual.

    yea some songs i can play and not get stinky at all, i guess its those low songs I think your loving the sound of 1 and need at least 1 more to get your satisfaction. I have 4 and still want more i think your right, i want two in the tahoe, and either 4 18"s or 6 15"s walled behind the c pillar in my burb

    F3 as in tuning correct ray? yea i dont like running that low, but is a D1 sub, may be switching to a T2500BDCP here soon though and will run @ 2 ohms my box is tuned to 32 right now, maybe ill hit ya up for a design

    ive thought it was maybe some glue also, im just being extra careful, dont wanna fuck up my first DC sub.

    ok so sometimes after slammin a full song or song and a half, i cant start to smell my XL, witch is still farley new, but broken in a lil bit. ive set everything up with my DD-1, and i still even go by the AQ clip light i know im not clippin, but my question is? i Am running the sub @ .5 on a AQ2200D, i heard somewhere that the lower ohm load can cause the sub to heat up faster? maybe the combo of the low ohm load and my voltage droppin a lil bit?
