  1. picked up these yamaha jetskis, 2007 Yamaha FX Crusiers High out put each ski has 35 hours on it, and are in mint condition, gettin insurance on em in the AM then gettin em in the water cant wait
  2. read the rules bro, cant sell anything here without 150+ post
  3. strapped is using two of the amps, if you got another kicker D4 15" and wired it @ 1 ohm it would make for a nice setup
  4. it will run it fine, wire it @ 2 ohm, and set the gains correctly
  5. i guess ill re tune my amp using the -5 DB track
  6. U mad bro? Lol at this thread. You got answers up there dude
  7. on the AQ gain knob.. OrionStang has a thread on this. I didn't really follow it though. I've experienced the same thing. I think the clip light is just premature. When I set my gains, I know the tone was clean, but the DD1 said I had no clipping, while the clip light said EVERYTHING was clipped. I think I saw that, I know my headunit is clean up to 34, and I know my gain is set right, and decaf music is clean Guess ill just slam and cover that light haha
  8. on the AQ gain knob..
  9. Was able to put the gain close to half before it distorts, used the -10 track its alot louder when I crank it, but the clip light is coming on alot. Only playing decaf though,
  10. just went and tried this, i even set a volume lock at half volume and stil distorts at 33/40 im guessing as soon as its plugged it volume is turned all the way up
  11. my orginal question was yes, just though it was kinda odd that the device didnt detect the 40hz signal til the volume was so high.. Because the -15db tone is much quieter than the 0db track you should be using. thank you for clearing that up, when i use the 0db track on my iphone, i distort at 33/40 when i use the actyal disk, i distort at 37/40
  12. my orginal question was yes, just though it was kinda odd that the device didnt detect the 40hz signal til the volume was so high..
  13. For your head unit use the 0db track. gain overlap is set at the amp not the hu. if this is true, when i ran the 0DB 40 hz track i distorted at 32/40
  14. thank you sir not using a highs amp at the moment (stock Bose Mids/highs ftl ) one ? though, i tested my headunit by plugging my RCA straight in the DD-1, when i ran the 40Hz - 10DB track with the sub volume @ +6, the 40Hz detect light didnt come on til vol 29/40 is this normal/ok? just wanna be sure Edit: is lt1z323 correct? do i need to use the 40Hz 0db track to find the max clean volume of the headunit, then use the -10Db track when i set my sub amp?
  15. beatbox, what sucks on my setup is im using the stock bose mids/highs system, my mids arent that loud at 30 also you say all your setting arer flat right? are you using the sub volume? i did a few test with it at +6, thats the only thing i have turned up on a few of the tracks i can go to 40/40 with no distortion... i dk if im doing somethng wrong or what
  16. alright im out finaly using this awesome tool, but i have a question. first one is when i tested im sub out RCA, trying to find max undistorted volume of my pioneer AVH-P4300DVD on the 40Hz -15DB, the 40 hz detect signal didnt kick on til 39/40? is this normal? ill be using the 40 Hz -10 DB to set my AQ2200D, witch is the only amp in the truck
  17. Glad i came and checked this thread!! so do this and a lossless transfer?
  18. what will be powering the pair?
  19. nice!! thats a nice ass amp
  20. I've never been the best at math but that sounds like 8800+ watts? Yup, plus 3 4x90, needs change it to electrical upgrades for 9k+ id do the biggest although you can get/fit (id do dual Alts, I like overkill though) Biggest battery you can fit under the hood, big three, prob 4 + runs of 1/0 and 3-4 big Batts in the rear
  21. Got mine the other day! Thanks ray! Got it alot quicker then I expected
  22. Just clip the negative to the ground, clipping it to the wires is fine, and id do it with the car running
