  11. Alright thank you Can you tell me how you came up with the 4"? I just laid out the box and found the needed port length by going down the middle of the port and accounting for the 45° end correction. well i ended up doing 6.25" on the second peice so i guess its a lil longer and lowered my NET and tuning but not much at all

  14. this is the box design i need to have the 6.45 cubes after all disp. i need the exact measurement that second peice should be so it dosent affect my airspace/tuning im not at the house so i cant measure it out
  15. this is incorrect the port has to be the same width all the way back or the tuning will be all worng ok so if his port is 7" wide then he would want the board to be 7" from the back of the box? If so then I built mine wrong and will have lower tuning than 33 hrtz if your port is not then same width all the way back then it is wrong now saying you have lower/higher tuning i have no clue..

  21. i was going to pm you about this but i decided to just make a thread thats what i thought too my my buddy that works at the local mobile one (hes been in the car audio game a longggggg time) he was saying something about measuring from the center of the port to get the overall length but then the second peice from his measurements ended up being way shorter but i think 15.25 is right
  22. Alright on my new box im building the specs of the port are (inner dimensions) 15.5 tall, 7.5 wide, and 32 long the depth of the box is 25", so it needs to turn my question is how long should the second peice be to give me the 32 overall length? The peice with the black lines on t is 16.75 and that is including the .75 from the front wall How long does the second peice need to be??
