  1. Only 1.44cu ft altogether or per sub? If altogether I'd have expected more, I got 1.5cu ft for each of my subs in my 00 camaro hatch, and i could probly get 2cu ft if i designed it right.
  2. If you already have power locks keyless entry shouldn't be too expensive, dealer might be but an audio shop should be able to do it fairly cheap.
  3. Add keyless entry if powered or switch from manual to auto locks/windows. I remember when i had an all manual car the locks would freeze as well, so i got used to unlocking one of the back two doors (was on a 4dr car) and did that all winter.
  4. We got about 12-18in here in OH, not as bad as some other areas though. Just got done shoveling it all and they cleared the roads already.
  5. Big 3 are definately coming once the warmer weather comes, its too cold to stand outside or in unheated garage. And battery will likely be coming soon too.
  6. Yeah 1200rms at 1 ohm, i don't know if they're underrated a little or not. I just don't want to be starving them if they can handle a lot more.
  7. Well I'm currently running two 12's with 1.5cu ft each powered by a US Amp md1d and am wanting to get DC's but before i do i want to make sure it'll match up right or if any upgrades would be needed. I would like to get the lvl 3 12's but is 1200w going to be sufficient? Thats what the amp is rated and I'm not sure if its underrated or not. And the box is already made so 1.5cu ft is the most i can get right now. By the way, my current 12's are cvr's, so if anyones had cvr's then dc's is there a huge difference? The cvr's don't pound enough for me anymore. Also, stock batt and alt. Thanks.
  8. In short, a cap is a waste of money and doesn't help a system out. It can actually be worse on your battery. And ground it on any metal, frame is the best though. Just sand down to metal if its on the body.
  9. Kicker CVR's are a good start since they don't require too much power and are fairly cheap, especially on craigslist (usually). They also can handle a lot of power and still sound good. I'm selling some locally if your in the OH area (longshot but who knows).
  10. Theirs only two local shop that I don't mind going to if i need to, the guys seem to know whats going on and even the owner is in the bay doing installs and making boxes (actually, he's the only guy who will make boxes there). The other semi-local shop is pretty good with just a few guys who work there and i personally know one of the installers their. Another local shop has a careless attitude and have people working there that don't know much of anything and they actually refused to make a box for me because they said I was wrong about how much room could fit in my hatch if ported, though I've seen it done, so i took it to the first shop and the owner built it and even ported it. I try to learn what I'm doing before going to a shop but i always learn something new and if I'm still stuck i ask for help, rather ask then do it wrong and ruin something.
  11. Do you need a backseat? Could do a fairly big box if your talking about the focus hatch. Just go looking at cars and picture the potential it may or may not have. In my camaro I'm having thought about a setup like this: http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images...70026_large.jpg Same design type except in a newer camaro. A wall'd camaro would be cool to see.
  12. You could make it a ground pounder just require some power but anythings possible.
  13. Something like that. I also remember a guy (think he's on here) who worked at local audio shop awhile back and had two 18" TC Sounds and that banged in his eclipse. I love hatch builds
  14. Camaro or eclipse for the hatch? Could fit two 15's in there, maybe more if you got creative.
