  1. Summit Racing carries them but I believe they're $200 not including shipping. Summit is usually pricey so if you google around you should be able to find a better deal.
  2. Think I'd have to see those on the vw before I could decide if I like em or not. But I've always felt vw's look best with BBS style rims, but it seems everyone has those.
  3. Problem is to do something like this the person has to have an understanding of what they're actually doing. By the sounds of it, the OP is not ready to handle something like this. Just my .02
  4. I've always tried various stuff but I only smoke a cigar maybe once a month so it's a slow process. I've found my favorite so far are Java's, the flavored wrap also compliments the smoke. I believe I picked up a Romeo y Juliete on my last trip for cigars but can't remember, still have to try it out. Also picked up an Acid (forget what type) which I heard is really good as well, but again I have yet to try.
  5. Can I get it changed to nautical7 since I don't have an fbody anymore.
  6. Exactly. I haven't jailbreaked an iphone but if it's like the droid you don't unzip any files.
  7. [quote name= Gem132' timestamp='1307445939' post='1558388] Noob here what exactly does jailbreaking an ipod, ipad etc do ? Same thing as rooting a phone. In short, it allows you to run whatever and do whatever you'd like to the device without any restrictions set by Apple (or any other manufacturer) from the factory. Usually helps battery life and device speed as well.
  8. Best way is to google a forum for jailbreaking it (there are tons of threads) or look it up on youtube where there is many different videos showing step by step. Just take it slow and get used to it, then once you have an idea of what you're doing you'll be good.
  9. IMO, I think the 'shocker' trend has been way overdone by everyone.
  10. If you plan on selling it I'd keep what you want to do to it at a minimum. The closer to stock it looks the easier it would be to sell it. Plus it allows you to save more money for a car you really want, then you can start investing in that.
  11. I just downloaded a game called Drag Racing and it gets pretty addicting while killing some time. I forget what other useful apps I even have on my phone at the moment.
  12. The 350z would, IMO, would sell quicker than the lexus. People see that as more of a sportier car than a lexus and appeals to a wider range of people.
  13. We're actually cutting cable out this week since it's summer time and we won't really use it. Anytime I want to watch a movie or football or whatever I just watch it on my laptop and hook it up straight to my tv, same thing and it's free.
  14. For those of you who reset your password already, how long did it take to receive the email to do so?
  15. Finally, PSN is coming back up slowly yet surely. Not up for everyone as of now but it's getting there. Here's the link. http://blog.us.playstation.com
  16. What is the code translated? And as said, it'll be on the exhaust work and usually a pain to replace, but usually it's because it's stuck into place. If you can get to it then it is fairly straight forward to replace. Depending on the code I highly doubt it's the PCM. Edit - searched for code. Here's a link to help you track it down if you haven't seen it. http://www.obd-codes.com/p0140 I would still try to check out the sensors if you can and go from there, but the solutions listed on the page would be the way I'd do it.
  17. Always nice to see another fbody build. But a couple things, have you thought about putting the mids/tweeters in the front doors instead of the back? And leave the box in that ttop holder area as you'll have more room for the box and it'll sound better (I've had a box where the rear seats are, on the gas tank hump where your amp is, and in the ttop area). If you really want to switch it up you could also do what I did and put two 12's in the well area ported. And a final thing, change out those salad shooters! Looks clean besides that, though.
  18. That's because that is the way it should be done. I hate people with HID's in stock housing because 99% of the time they're still blinding, even if they don't get flashed to let them know. That's why people buy projectors since it won't spread the light and it's courteous to other drivers on the road. And as Nate said, it is illegal, it would just depend on the cop who pulled you over. He could cite you for tint (if applicable) and illegal lighting if he really wanted to, but some don't care as much as others. If I were an officer and got blinded by HID's in a stock housing, I'd be writing a ticket as it is a hazard to others. Call me a dick if you want, but that's how I would go about it, but if they weren't blinding and scattered, I wouldn't even worry about it since it won't affect other drivers.
  19. Driven a tC and rode in a friends mazda3 and I like the layout of the tC more, but never got to drive the mazda3 to make a comparison on power or anything. The tC's are nice but stock they kind of look girly, but with a little work they look good overall. Two good cars though, so basically compare and see which you like more. And mazda 3 sedan or hatch?
  20. Oh well then who knows if you stepped wrong or not. Just keep up your cardio (as you probably know) while you're taking a break. Seen plenty of people be in great shape but they get hurt and they let themselves go. Least now you can at least get an associates and go back in if you so choose. They may put you through college if you plan to go back afterwards though, right?
  21. Sounds like either while running you stepped wrong or tried too hard and your legs weren't built up for running like that yet, but even still didn't think an ACL injury would arise before anything else. Problem with any acl injuries is that they don't really heal without some type of surgery. You could try running with a brace on it and see how that goes, but I don't know how much pain it's causing you so use at your discretion.
  22. Agreed, but unless you're at a track there is no such thing as racing responsibly. It may sound cold but the guy brought this accident upon himself and ended up totalling his car out of his own stupidity, thankfully he didn't hurt anyone else and lived through it all, maybe he learned his lesson. Any idea what he got cited with?
  23. No one called you a dumbass, but you're new and don't even own a gun so wanting to go out and do tactical stuff right away is just plain stupid. Guns are not to be messed around with until you know the gun inside and out and should take a class on how to properly use your weapon. Anyone can shoot a gun, not everyone knows how to use it properly, and that's how people get injured killed. And even if no one is in the immediate area, a stray bullet has the potential to go who knows where and hit something/someone, happens all the time from people shooting into the air. Not saying you shouldn't eventually do what you want, but having owned a gun for a week doesn't mean you know how to handle your weapon, it all comes down to safety, especially for you.
  24. This video seems to be getting popular, but I think this kid was justified in what he did. http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=157762297615657&comments And if you don't have facebook: http://ilovepwnage.com/video.php?v=MTg2Nzk= Here's a gif for those who may want it. And this was also posted on a different forum Edit: If those don't work, here's another link. http://www.break.com/fights/chubby-kid-snaps-and-slams-bully-2023531
