the 1s with built in transformers suck ass. their not as bright and if they get water in the transformer case its fucked trust me been there did that b4. but yeah it sounds like u need a new transformer if its still givin u problems like that. try ebay they mite have sumthin on there reasonable

yep u gots a switch thats not big enough to handle the current. use the switch to run a relay on your neons and i bet you have no more problems

i had the same problem a long time ago. the toggle switch probly doesnt have enough balls to run the transformer. run the switch to a relay then to the transformer thats what i had to do and they worked fine after that.

yep checked with meter they was in phase

good amo, low power not even turned up we turned it way down just for breaking in, and the coils were in phase

it wasnt played hard enough to bottom it out. but i'll just have to talk to rusty about it

no we shimmed it and made absolute sure nothing was rubbing or binding before we glued it. we even checked the former to make sure it wasnt rubbing the pole. and we checked the coil as we pulled it out and didnt see any spots where it looked like it rubbed against the magnet b4 it came loose. trust me guys its not the 1st recone i did before. i just never had 1 fall apart like that before

as promised here it is. birds nest from hell. btw the former got bent a little trying to git it out of the motor. keep in mind this was in the motor/basket for 1 day and played for 10 minutes oh and check this new patent pending magnet structure. it was just for shits and giggles it wasnt like that when the cone failed.

dont ask me how the hell it did but it did. it uncoiled from the former and fell in to the magnet and i mean all the damn way to the top of the former. idk if it was bad glue or wtf cus it wasnt even being played hard.

just ordered a recone recently and got it done yesterday. we had it playing for about 10 minutes today and the voice coil fell off the former. can any1 at DC help? is there a chance to get a replacement?
