Help On Battery Bank...

Im just going to add on to this post since I have the same question. Im only running one xtx5000.1 (2500 @ 1 ohm) stock alt stock battery. 1/0 big 3 next available chance. I want a .ew bat under the hood and one in the back. Whats a good combo? A xs d3100 in ths back and the same up front? I am completly new to higher end game of electrical. -
for that amount of power would the xs power d3400 be big enough you think? and i have a yellow top but not currently in. i just have for the most part a stock battery under the hood. should i be able to keep that there for awhile or replace both with the same brand?

yeah i know. i just ordered my 2 ssa icons which match up perfectly for 2500 rms at 1 ohm. so i guess what i'm getting from you guys is that not all vehicles actually put out 14.4v? so should i just get a second bat and call it a day then?

i just received my xtx5000.1 and i need to make sure it gets 14.4v's to get the full potential. i know i need an h\o alt and this weekend ill be doing the big 3 in 0\1 but what second bat should i get in order to to achieve this?

just received my ssa decals and amp in the mail. i messaged ssa about where the subs where and within 10 mins. i had a reply! thats awesome customer service in my opinion! ssa take your time building my 2 18" icon d2's!

hey thanks for the advice. thats the main thing i wanted to know, if there was an advantage at all to doing a wall that far back. and since its lookin like i'm getting the 2 18's i wouldn't mind have subs up port back

how did you like it? did i get loud enough? just got the go ahead to get 2 18's ssa icons so now idk which way i wanna go with the box

what about a small scale horizontal clam shell? that way the lean of the seats would go with the box?

its not gonna be too big. just 4 15's it's lookin like. 2 amps one bat. not too crazy. i just don't know why i don't see it more often. is subs up port back still the better way to go?

its for a 2005 ford explorer.

i know i want to upgrade from 2 15's to either 4 or 2 18's. my question is why haven't i seen a wall behind the back seat in four door suv's? i would like to run a wall just because it seems like it should be louder but everyone that has a back seat always run the set up subs up port back and i just want to know why that is? thanks for clearing this up for me.

Choosing Alternator

i had a yellow top powering only a kicker kx 1200.1 and my lights were nearly flashing. -
i personally run 2 15 re sxx's and the sound quality on those is amazing. if your using the jl audio amp i doubt it puts out 1000rms which actually works good because the new line of sxx's can only handle about 800 continues. and another brand that i'm ashamed i'm just learning about is one of the best and oldest that you should look into. check out atomic subs. i just saw a guy hit a 141 off of 2 atomic manhaten (600 rms each) 10's and he was still breaking them in. good luck.

i have no idea about putting 2k to it but i know that the sound quality is amazing on them. i have the sxx's and with the new basket design they can't handle as much power, but the mx's shouldn't have that problem. i personally think you should do it. just my opinion tho.

i'm sry i miss read when u said components. i really thought u said co-axels. and yeah i know you can get pioneers for alot cheaper. i'm talking 60$ a set. just giving you some ideas. but seriously if your gonna act like a dick about it you can play a game called hide and go fuck yourself. i know pioneers aren't top of the line and can be out preformed but so can your 12" kickers so i thought it might be what your looking for.
