How to know?
vr6bass replied to GioRF's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
yeah what he said, use the gain to match the input levels so the bass doesn't drown out the highs/vice versa. what I do is just adjust everything to as loud as I can play it to right before it starts to sound bad, then just back it off a hair so that whenever I turn it all the way up, it doesn't distort (unless its a rediculous song or something). -
mmm I know its already been said but Steve the hoe is looking fresh as ever. I've always been a sucker for tinted windshields but never had the balls to do it. I know what your saying tho about the 35% my gti is 35 all the way around and at some angles it looks blacked out, but in other conditions like bright sun, it looks barely tinted.

check out http://www.mo-co-so.com/ and www.mp3car.com for some good resources, I'm in the exact same boat as you, and I think I've got everything about selected for what I'm going to use. I chose one of lower end prebuilt boxes from mo co so.com and a touchscreen from mp3car.com thats pre assembled. I will be using a 3sixty.1 or 2 for bass control and eq and Then I'll need a usb volume knob and ill have to buy a amp for the mids. I already have a t1500bd and 12w7 but I dont have a headunit in my gti. so the carputer will be my headunit. Its a double din so it will fit nicely. I'm not any expert but I might be able to shine a little light on your questions. pm me if you need help. pm gogojjt for more technical questions, he is a real expert and has been helping me recently.

dell laptop wont connect to plasma
vr6bass replied to la negra's topic in Computer Talk - News, technology, advice
most likely you have to go into the control panel and see if the laptop recognized the tv then switch the output. check in the display control panel also for multiple displays. sometimes they don't recognize each other and it wont work
