i no this is an old thread but why not keep it alive... this was the second deer i ever shot when i was about 12 or 13 so about 8 or 9 years ago this one i shot obviously in 2007, i was 17. both were shot gun (20ga rem 870) in southern IL

just get a single in duel out muffler and have a shop fix it up for you. will cost 400 probably

i no QA is known for there amps but im not sure about speakers or tweeters for that matter.

well if you need a larger alternator the you might as well get a better battery. someone will chime in with a good size to go with for you.

i would like it a lot more if more shit jumped out but commercials make it seem much more then it really is...

there is no such thing. you can use the scope to find voltage i guess. but like i said before a scope cost 2-3k on the cheap side. so if you were looking for a dmm with a scope if there is such a thing it would cost probably 5-6k now there are dmms with a capture feature but not the same as a o-scope. thats just reading volts, ohms, or ac current over a period of time. where a scope is frequencies and signals

the fluke dmm is like 500 bucks. the oscope is like 2k-3k

this is a great find. dont listen to all these other guys. if your worried about how good it was put together then go around and check all the bolts. look at it. ven if it has been beat, all your going to do it beat it anyway so who cares. jeeps are awesome trucks and last a long time. just always remember they are not race cars so take your time when driving cuz lifted they are very top heavy and around corners and off ramps they like to tip over. if your not a half retarded idiot then you should have no problems. but awesome find. what are you paying for it? also if you have any questions about it i am a jeep guy and have had a wrangler and 3 cherokees so ask away. i am also a mechanic and do all the work i do myself so i know a lot about them

well i have a dodge ram 2500 quad cab so it has the half back doors and rarely someone will sit back there. i was actually thinking that if i wanted to put a lot more money into it i would get the same 6x9s and fit them in the rear but i think it sounds pretty good how it is. i am going to make a build log of it even though its already done but its done real nice so you cant even tell any of its even there.

did you check all the wires to the subs before you disconnected them? that sounds like a loose wire.

on a 4 channel can you tune each speaker? cuz obviously i have 2 different size speakers. 6/9s in the front and 4 1/4 in the rear. and they have different wattage ratings... ive just never done an interior amp before. thanks again

yea no rippin or the tearin going on here and yes it is a 6x9. and they are behind my door panels so you cant see them anyway. if there were shoulg i would have brought them back and said i took them out of the box like that lol. but ok thanks guys that makes me feel a lot better. one more thing though. i cant seem to find much on interior speaker amps. i was just wondering if it would help my speakers cuz if it turn the volume all the way up i hear a little distortion with the bass like half up for the interior speakers, but if i take the bass all the way down i dont hear and distortion and they are very clear. would an amp help or just not make that much of a different if i get distortion without one?

i backed it off and tried to tighten it again but even the slightest tightening and it picks it back up. its only a very small spot but it seems to be able to function normally. i just dont know if maybe it would let air through and change the sound of something goofy like that. also if i took some super glue or gorilla glue and put a small amount to reseal it would that work or should i just leave it?

ok i was installing some new speakers in my truck and when i screwed them down the screw has a wide spot on th head to act like a washer and it went over the edge of the speaker foam... its hard to explain and i already have it all back together but anyway when the screw spun it twisted the foam and picked it up off the basket. here is just a pick of a similar speaker and if you cn imagine what im trying to say??... all i want to know is this now damaged or will the speaker still function normally? it plays fine but it happened to both 6x9s so i dont know the difference if its good or bad. it sounds good to me. but just thought i would ask. the speakers are not amped so there is only like 13watts rms going to each. edit: silly me i forgot the pic... http://www.frys.com/ac/largerimg/index.jsp?sku=5634731

i dont think anyone answered you about a site to use to make urls, i really like to use photobucket. its free and very sinple to use. but i do want to throw out there that i used 2g wire for my power and ground and im only running a 1000w amp. and thats peak so nothing near what your going to be running. granted its monster wiring so its probably really more like true 4g but the point is if it were me i would do it once with true 0g wiring.

check the email that was sent to you that said your password was changed. if they changed the email then it might have sent one to both you and him. see if there are 2 different people the email was sent to.... maybe that could lead somewhere. maybe not, i dont no. what was your old account name?
