  1. ok so i accidentally bought the kit lol this is the one i bought, hid kit , the price was 69.99 with free shipping and i put in an offer for 55.00 and they took it haha i didnt think they would. but i should have it next week. ill put a step by step install on my build page.
  2. are you using a relay??? if not you need to get the relay harness and wire it in...
  3. yes it does, awesome. thanks. i will be doing this soon probably. thanks for all the help guys.
  4. ok one last question, in that link what is the H G L? and where does the relay go? it doesnt show one on the diagram...
  5. hose..... come on.... just take a hose and spray it in specific places. if it leaks look for the water.... easy...
  6. would this be a good kit for what im looking for? hid kit i have 9004 bulbs and i want the hi/low bulbs. 5000k. i want as white as i can get to see better
  7. hey thank you very much for the reply thats what i was looking for. so you wouldnt sugest the ddm hi/low beams? and i really like the 5000k because it will help me see better but do the 6000k do the same job for seeing wise but adds a little blue?
  8. no, dont replace your o2 sensors. that wont be your problem. like i said in my first post its probably because of letting your car warm up, and yes winter driving is hard on your vehicle. it takes longer to get fully warmed up which gives you worse gas mileage because it takes longer to get into closed loop, or into fuel control. winter will do that. if it keeps going lower then that might be a problem. if you really want to figure out the problem you need a scan tool and you need to take a look at your long and short term fuel trim and your o2 readings. dont just replace parts.
  9. could be the cold, and do you start it up and let it get warm before you drive it?? that uses gas and doesnt add mileage making it seem like worse gas mileage.
  10. awesome thanks, ive actually been looking for something like this. it is hard to find this many tones in the same download. thanks again
  11. yea, thats why i think it will be like 200 or 300 because im pretty sure a cd wont break in 100mph wind. they spin at like 7-10k rpm. i think they can handle more then that.
  12. you should hear a hiss somewhere. if there is wave your hand over the engine till you dont hear it and then you will hear it after you hand passes it. then pin point it from there.
  13. yea that to. you could build the motor for gas mileage but it will perform like the 2.2 if you want 25mpgs lol
  14. that would be awesome lol but maybe there is one that would work, a different type or something.
  15. well you wont get great gas mileage with the 2.2 anyway. what like 20 at the most or something? there is no way i would ever do anything other then a sbc. just my opinion. but i drive a pickup that gets about 10-12 all day and 14-16 on the highway and about 5-6 when im plowing haha. i dont really care about gas prices. the one thing i dont sacrifice is my truck. and gas comes with that
  16. well steve has posted a video about his CD challenge. well i personally would like to know what kind of wind speed is coming out of that port and out of his windows. i wonder if you could buy a wind speed meter or something to see. i dont no if a wind speed thing would work because of the wind motion but maybe there would be one that would work. i dont no. what do you guys think?
  17. to be honest your symptoms dont fit a timing belt. if it is the belt you would have much worse problems. its a good idea to have it done anyway. vacuum leak sounds a little better. if you want to really figure out the problem borrow a scan tool, if your short term fuel trim is way off from your long term then it could be your timing belt. but just see if you have any codes and go from there, if you need help diagnosing something let me no but dont just start to replace parts. figure out the problem. a timing belt at a shop should be about 4 hours maybe 6 book time. 150 is a very fair price to do the job. shit i would do it for 150. but yea, not going to be your problem, most likely.
  18. yea wow.... maybe if he keeps doing this 3 times a day for 45 minutes each in about 10 years he will look healthy....
  19. play with it in your calc. just base your sq ft and size off that. and make your own box.
  20. who can i pm to ask about dc subs. want to get some 10s ok wow that was a dumb question... if i looked at chodes sig lol....
  21. well first off if you could post some dimensions of the room you have and some specs on the sub we could get this project started... also download the torres box calc. i wont help you if you dont have it...
