    I want to do a port like the one Steve has in the Tahoe so I have more net volume. Ill be using the Torres' ExpoSport calculator. Here are my questions: 1) Will I only have one common port wall? 2) Does it matter how high the port is on the box? 3) How much port area should I have per cubic foot? 4) Is the depth (length) of the port the same on all four sides?

    If you're getting at AQ3500D then a fully loaded fi btl would work. Just get a dual 1 ohm fully loaded sub and wire it up to 2 ohms. It'll be better on your electrical at 2 ohms than 1. That way, if you want another btl after you upgrade the electrical, you could use the same amp and wire it to 1 ohm with the two woofers. I'd go with either a btl, xl, or level 5..whichever is cheapest

    I would do the upgrade to an xl. Like what everyone else said, "the one 15 won't be starving for air." also, you could probably fit a ported box

    I've heard nothin but good things about those subs. Those quad 1.2 ohm voice coils would confusing as hell to hook up and im not try to go broke with spending like $1000 per woofer, On top of that I'd need almost 9000 watts RMS PER SUB..thats not even including the mids and highs

    Your welcome. If you listen to all different types of music, I'd do a mid sized ported enclosure and tune it between 35 and 38Hz. No, it wont get the extremely deep lows, but it will get some "high bass."

    It all depends on what kind of music you listen to. If it's rock go sealed. If it's rap do a big ported and tune it to about 33hz

    The subs probably would need different amounts of power so I can't think of anything. Actually, maybe two four channel amps. Usually the first two channels have their own cross over and the third and fourth have a seperate crossover. You could wire the subs to different impedences (ohm loads) to achieve your rated power. It probably sounds really complicated but it's really not

    He'd need either four enclosures or one Four chambered enclosure. He would also need 4 amps (one per sub.) Electrical upgrades wouldn't be a bad idea depending on the amps

    I had an idea that was the case but I heard you could give a sub more power to make up for the smaller enclosure. I figured i'd ask on here because you guys have helped me in the past

    it's going in a Mazda Tribute which is a small suv. It's pretty much a Ford Escape
