  1. I would use this over the hifonics amp for 2 XLs
  2. I've heard that hifonics amps are a lil underrated. Even if you are giving the subs 1700 watts, it'll get loud
  3. Srry, I just reread ur whole thread and saw ur budget.
  4. Rockford fosgate t2500-1bd edit: nvm, that's about 3k
  5. Audioque is really as cheap as you can get while still retaining quality and true power
  6. It wouldnt be benficial if you had 1000 caps. Get a battery!
  7. That's some funny shit but it's true. My dad had a kfc-3012 sub bridged on a Rockford 400 watt amp. It hit pretty hard and clear. He upgraded to a Fi SSD and a t1000-1bd and doesn't regret it
  8. No, I live in NY. That car is my Uncles.. It's fast as f***! I'll let him know what u think about it, thanks though. I'm only 15 so I'm not driving yet.
  9. I don't use eBay for electronics but what I would do is search for what I want on eBay and check the sellers feedback percentage and comments.
  10. Sorry, I just reread my first post and I see how it could have been interpreted differently. I didn't mean to be rude, I was just using 5/0 as an example
  11. No problem man, I'm glad I could help. I doubt you will go over $300, especially if you look at the right places and get deals
  12. Yep that's it besides the parts for your custom enclosure. You shouldn't have any wiring issues and you could use almost any size wire; I don't reccommend smaller than 18 gauge. I would probably use 14 or 16 because it's for two amps.
  13. Oh yeah, Knu is true. They don't mess around. Yes, you would have two runs of 4 gauge unless you have 1/0 running from the battery near the amps into a distribution block with 4 gauge coming out.
  14. No, you cant use the distribution block for the RCAs. You should be fine with the 4 gauge wire if it is true 4 gauge. What's the brand of the wire?
  15. 1) A y splitter is pretty much your only option for splitting the signal. 2) For splitting the remote turn on you can use a distribution block, relay or run the wire to the original amp and run another wire from the original amps turn on to the second amps turn on. 3) I think that setup would sound pretty nice. I would give each sub their own chamber though 4) I would do the Big 3 and get a battery
  16. No one mentioned cat5 in this thread, although it works. Also, this does answer your question, your original question atleast because it wasn't specific.
  17. he didn't specify whether he wants the two wires in the terminals or if he wants one wire per terminal and use bolts.
  18. Wire is wire. You could use 5/0 as speaker wire if it fit
  19. don't forget about XS power. I think your voltage would be okay with the group 31 battery from them
  20. You probably need three common port walls. Two port walls is for if the port is in one corner. I'm pretty sure three common port walls lowers tuning
  21. What type of music do you listen to. If it's rap, then 32-33hz. If it's rock, I reccommend anywhere from 35-37hz
  22. I'd do a custom box because it's made to work with the subwoofer. Also, prefabs are usually tuned pretty high.
