  1. I am selling a JL audio 13tw5 subwoofer because i am looking to upgrade to an xl 12 or 15. This sub is rated at 600 watts rms The mounting depth is only 2.5 inches shallow. this sub is in 10/10 mechanical and 7/10 cosmetic. it has some shallow scratches on the front of it. and very light wear and tear on the magnet. this sub is the best thin line sub that i know of and it only requires .8 cubic foot for a 13 inch subwoofer! looking to get 275 shipped in the USA! these are the specs off jls website: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=30 pics: 275 shipped to con us!! looking to possibly trade for a beefy 12 or 15 inch sub that will handle 2200 rms at 1 ohm.
  2. Thanks! vids coming soon! i still need to get a four channel amp in there and some new door speakers
  3. A good friend of mine bought a 2006 dodge RAM 1500 single cab truck and he already has a dc audio xl 15 subwoofer. So we wanted to figure out a way to put the xl in the cab without seriously modifying the truck. So I started drawing up some plans with the seats all the way back...but that left me with 59.5w by 24 tall by 1.5d1 and 7d2, so that didn't give me any airspace at all lol. We also wanted to keep the center console seat, so if I slide the driver and passenger Seats up to the same position as the fixed middle seat is, that gave me max dimensions of 59.5w by 24h by 8.25d1 and 13.25d2. That also allowed room cor a very comfortable seating position for all 3 seats with plenty of leg room even for taller people. So we started the box build. So, this is the box test fit in the truck. You can see a column in the box where I built around the center seat belt so we could continue to be able to use it. This is to check Clarence with the center seat flipped up. More pics are uploading now! Thanks for looking!
  4. well my problem is not only the airspace, but figuring out a good place for the port
  5. Well its a RAM 1500 and it will be something crazy custom. Lots of fiberglass and maybe sacrificing some space behind the passenger seat for more airspace
  6. my friend has a single cab truck and a xl 15 that was in his car. i want to install it in his truck and make a fiberglass enclosure but dont think ill have the space to do it ported. is sealed even an option with this sub?
  7. def 0 gauge for the 2200! that amp is a beast! everything else seems to be dead on! post some pics!
  8. I think owners1 has a 6th order bandpass iirc. but he switched to the crossfires for 4" coil and better suited softparts. Edit: and the xls are awesome!
  9. yes, they are under the front seats just some 4 inch speakers that are high passed in the rear deck. thanks ray, happen to know what colors i should tag off when i pull the radio??
