Very nice build dude, i´ve seen all of your builds actually, i was considering building a flat wall just like that in my EX, but, i DD´s doesn´t like "small" ports at all, you managed to get around 335SQ of port with the flat wall, honestly speaking, that doesn´t work for my 3518´s (unless i´m doing something wrong haha) , that´s why i´m going with a 6th order in the future i guess, what´s the shell dimensions ?if you don´t mind me asking

Yeah i got you hommie, 2 subs it is then, i´m not that big of an expert about walls actually, but i did built a box for 2 bl 15´s on 4000 watts in a trunk without been sealed off or anything and it was doing a 149 @ 48 hz , that box was 6.5 c/f and about 115SQ of port with a 38 hz tuning. Since you want to only change baffles, i would definitely try bigger port and higher tuning, that should raise your score a lot since you were tuning to 35 hz before with a big ass box, also, PORT ON DRIVER´S SIDE THIS TIME!!!!

Well, we are talking about a wall in a small cabin space, i would definitely try getting those 3 subs in there if you are gonna rebuild soon as you said, i would try something like 170SQ of port and 9 cubic feet with 39-41 hz tuning, that should get to a +50 hz peak and less rise, besides, less voltage drops, with that 3500 wired at 0.33 ohms you should get a good score without much problems if you ask me, what´s exactly your goal on the meter?

BL´s doesn´t need a big ass box if you ask me, you are saying it´s 9.67 c/f and 157 SQ of port, i would go bigger on the port and smaller box, you are not only getting a lower load since the amp it´s at 0.33 ohms now, but also more cone area, i agree with zayres when he says optimun is better, but on this case, i honestly think you could gain a lot

Try it with the window higher than that and also, face looking at you, not facing down

0.4 dbs gain by taking out the carpet, i also tried vinyl and lost 0.2 dbs, after those test, rough MDF of smooth paint for me

Well, i painted the port once with a regular black can and dropped a few tenths because the surface got rough, i guess any kind of paint that isn´t smooth would drop the score. Still waiting for someone to test a regular aeroport vs golf ball effect aeroport lol
