  1. It´s funny how people talk shit about stetsom, i saw some moron bashing the company because he was breaking his tinsel leads constantly, learn how to set the lpf filter properly you retard!!! Anyways, yes stetsom is a great amplifier and cheap as hell to if you ask me, but maybe he´s looking to wire the amp at 1 ohm to be safe? i dunno, i can tell you this, i only wire my amps at 1 ohm for daily because i abuse WAY too much on them since there isn´t any car audio rules around here, so i pound my systems a few hours 24/7
  2. Any 1 ohm stable amp will work at 1.5 ohms but after some rise you would loose some power, i would try something like a kicker ZX1500.1 wired at 1.5 ohms, that should sound very nice
  3. x2 , what subs and impedance?
  4. I´ve met a few crazy girls thanks to facebook, i don´t hate it at all
  5. Yes he did it outlaw on a CRX, a small box fits better on a car with such a high resonant frequency using tons of power, as much as i love small boxes with lots of power, OP doesn´t have any of those things, that´s why he´s making it so difficult, he´s using very small power and small cone area on a big SUV with a low peak
  6. Unless he´s korey hofer !! haha he claimed he had 45" long tubes
  7. 1: Port is too small 2: You can use 2x4´s , all threaded rod, dowels, etc etc
  8. thank you my latin brotha back to whoring haha you are welcome whore
  9. You enter on her profile, at the bottom on the left just below her friends, there´s an option that says cancel friend request, cancel it and send her a new one!
  10. Damn! that´s a high goal with a single 1500 watts amplifier with a 1 ohm load and 2 8´s, i haven´t work with those subs so i can´t give you a good input, i got good results using a pair of DD 1508s on a 2.2 c/f box and a single 6" aeroport but it´s a completly different sub, you should wait for someone with a good experience on SA´s to give you a better input, said that, if it was me, i would try something like 1.6 - 2 cubic feet and a 6" aeroport, yes it´s a lot of port but you have small power , maybe a couple of 4" aeroports should work, but once again, i have 0 experience with SA´s so i might be giving you a dumb advice lol Also, i would do subs side port back on this application and around 38-42 hz tuning since the resonant frequency of that car should be low
  11. DAMN!!! awesome pictures man, i wish shows would be like that over here, that Z/28 it´s pure sex!!
  12. hahaha that was fun man!!! i enjoyed those vids a lot, you should get a snorkel now
  13. If you are looking for high numbers on the meter with such a small cone area on a big SUV with a single small amplifier wired at 1 ohm , then you are shooting for a very difficult goal hommie, what´s exactly the score you are trying to reach??
  14. Renault clios are so fucking loud with subs forward/port side, specially for numbers on the meter, for music, they get louder with everything facing the roof
  15. Nice car, they hit stupid high numbers on the meter with subs forward/port side if you go that route
  16. try uploading pictures since my english isn´t that good lol, upload them on imageshack.us , get the direct link and post it on the image option at the tool bar you have on the top when you are writing a post...
  17. if it´s subs up/port back and you are looking through the port, i would use a single horizontal corner (from right to left)at the bottom of the box, that´s the pressure point of that box
  18. Very nice man, it doesn´t look that bad, i´ve always liked the 1gen Neon, yes it´s slow and not that good looking lol but who cares? for the amount of money you got it, its a great deal, congrats!!
  19. That´s dope! it´s a slow car that should get him a lot of pussy lol, looks awesome !
  20. Bottom right/lleft corner you are correct, upper right/left corner i´m not sure about that one, it might work , but all of them NO, for dialy you might not be able to hear a difference, but on real life, it´s gonna hurt your score. 45´s aren´t that necessary if you ask me, specially for a daily application, i wouldn´t take to much attention about that...
  21. What do you mean with how you build the port? if the box has a 2:1 ratio using 2 c/f on the sealed chamber, this means you need 4 c/f of ported chamber with 64-80 SQ of port , since the sealed chamber is kind of big because of the power you are using, you don´t need a low tuning to play the lows, i would tune it around 46-49 hz maybe? that should do the job
  22. Jeremiah ledgerwood burped a 157 sealed on the dash of his explorer with 4 hdc3 12" on street C class using 4 DD z1 iirc, he burped a lot of times those subs without any problems, he also had a daily box for them abusing them constantly and he said he never had any problems, i haven´t try the hdc3´s but i have tried the DD 3512 wich is a very similar sub (unless we are talking about aluminum coils) , but anyways, i love those DD´s , if they are very similar, then yes, hdc3 are beast and can take lots of power without any problems!
  23. I don´t think there´s an average, i can tell you this, my swift suck ass sealed up while my explorer is WAYYY louder sealed up vs having a door open or something: Explorer: 151.9 db drag 151.4 sensor on the windshield and door open 152.3 usaci style Swift: 149.0 db drag 149.4 door open with sensor on the windshield 149.8 usaci style As you can see, i didn´t gain almost anything by placing the sensor on the kick in the swift while i did won a lot in the explorer, i´ve never tested that again since outlaw suck lol
  24. I didn´t understand almost anything on your last post, but anyways, a 155 dbs @ 30´s with 3500$ seems hard as hell if you wask me because it has to include amplifiers, batts and everything. I would set a lower goal and everything past that goal is a bonus, said that, a 150 dbs it´s way easier to hit. I would go with something stupid cheap that still can pound the lows, i know american bass has some subs that you can affort and get a massive amount of cone area ONLY IF YOU CAN FIT A PROPER BOX FOR THEM, a couple of AQ or crescendo amplifiers, HO alternator and a few batts, i´ve used SVR batts before and for the price they aren´t bad at all, jus throwing ideas out there, but i honestly think it´s difficult since you are gonna spend a lot of money on wood and wires, head unit and even on mids/highs and amps for those, or you think your demos are gonna be fun just playing subs without hearing any voices? lol
