hmm some good info.. still mixed reviews on its accuracy i see.. i jsut wanted to know what it was measuring.. and rail voltage iskinda what i was thinking but wasnt sure..

It would be amp to sub but those clipping lights arnt all that precise. It's enough to trust but you should still set your gains with a multimeter or better yet the dd1 ill be using a dd1 but was jsut curious as to what exacty the clipping was from..

what exactly is it measureing? like where is it reading the "clipping" from? HU to amp signal? amp to sub signal?

ok so im having sum issue with this amp... whats goin on is, when shut my vehicle off, say to run in the gas station to grab a wrap. i come back out start my vehicle up and i get a loud POP noise thru my mids.. i KNOW this cant be good for em (being replaced this weekend anyways) so what ive determined is happening is the amp is taking its time shutting down.... it takes about 3-4 mins before the amp will acutally turn off even tho the vehicle and headunit are both off.. any way i could wiring in a relay or ??? sumn! to aleviate this problem?

parts_exress.com has the prescion ports and they off pre fabbed elbows and couplers.. i was gonna use them on my box but ending up doing things a lil diff, so i didnt have to buy so many damn pieces.

why couldnt you use a elbow on a aero port? most slot ports have a 90 degree in them....

got em today, theyll go in this weeeknd so we'll see what they do....

oh and too many things to take into consideration for a "kinda" on where to set amp gain... spend the money and get a smd distortion tester

the d3400 will help but id still recommend a 2nd battery at minimal... a HO alt would be ideal

that stock 90a alt isnt gonna like the 2200...

either way the set in question is on its way to me..

yeah i have a set of 5.25 and 6.5 in my doors infinty kapps right now, but i think they sound like shit.. im hoping these will be a somewhat better.. contiplating if i should do 2 sets components liek i have now or replace opne set with acutal midbass woofers? or even contiplated usinga set of coaxils

well first thing you need to do is figure out exactly how much room you have to work with... guessing isnt doing anything but wasting effort..

ive paid anywahere from 10-35 for a design.... theres a guy i think his email is [email protected] he does nice designs for i think 3 bux and "tips" are appreaciated.. think i tossed him a 20 spot for my current dsign..
