  1. You can usually get away with 1 sheet for a 15. Best is to plan it out first with sketchup if you can. it may save you about 30 bucks. If you do do that, dont line each piece exactally next to eachother. remember you have a few mm that the saw cuts and youll be off by that much per cut, so give each piece maybe quarter of an inch all around.
  2. yes. they will be harder though to seal (experience). I have yet to find a fast effective way to do it. My best guess is resin the curved edges.
  3. smooth side of mdf wont soak up paint. its the cut edges that will. just put some sort of sealer over em, bondo, resin, wood putty, something to fill it in then just prime, and paint.
  4. well 13v isnt bad. when you get into the 11's high 10's youre pushing it pretty bad. i'd throw a few more batteries in if thats what youre asking.
  5. I believe though generally itll be louder if the port is on the opposite side of the meter. (if youre firing back)
  6. 500$ for a box?!! Shit, HMU ill cut you the sheets, design, and ship it to you gfor a fraction of that. All you have to do is nail it together.
  7. If you want a constant 14v at the battery, maybe you should look into better electrical. You dont use a 14v battery for applications like this (commonly). With a good alt, good batteries, maybe regulator on the alt as well, you'll see a constant 14v at the amp all day every day. No need for a 14v battery unless you can charge it at 16v, which will in return fuck up tyhe 12v up front.
  8. do you have any bracing for that box? those subs will tear that wood to shit
  9. i put masking tape about 8 inches all around the sides of the box, that way if you ever need to get the box out, it wont be that bad since the tape is there. I used a crowbar and some body fat and I was able to get mine out once it was time to remove it. Stuff it as much as you can before you foam. Takes about 2 cans to do it right.
  10. are you plugged into that building via extension cord? LOL how the hell does that happen??
  11. Id check out dc. Check out the lvl 3's, or some sundowns. They cost a little more than your kickers/alpine but in the end it's totally worth it.
  12. np lol
  13. top of this section. called torres calc.
  14. true true just like you and dcpower! Cept you have amazing power output and outstanding customer service. but in the end, it usually boils down to how much someone wants to spend. They could buy like 4-5 sets of ddm hids, vs 1 set of fv. I bet fv has great lights, but $$$ is 99% of the time a factor (unless youre meade) hehe
  15. BUY YOUR WIRE HERE!!! CLICKY. I'd run 1 strand of 1/0 gauge>300A fuse>Dist block>4 gauge>140A fuse> amp. That 4 gauge is reccommended at 140a for a reason. Sure you can run more than that, but it'll be funny once you burn right through the jacket and short on your chassis edit: dammit im tired keep hitting wrong keys >={
  16. combat arms ftw.
  17. that's badass lol. I've seen bounce off the back of the rim for 3-4 times then just sit there lol.
