  1. Cool. I thought about getting some too, but I was worried about the thickness of the foil.
  2. Make them give you a full refund and take your business elsewhere. Maybe pick up an Audioque AQ2200D or something...
  3. I'm not crazy about the speaker & tweeter placement, but the work itself looks awesome.
  4. It sucks, but unfortunately this crap happens sometimes. I'd ask them about covering the shipping costs. It shouldn't be your responsiblity to ship damaged amps back and forth to them...
  5. This kind of stuff happens from time to time. It's already happened to you twice, and you're the second person that I've seen complaining about it, so I'm firmly believing that sonicelectronix has indeed received some bad amps. I'd consider going in a different direction or purchasing the amp elsewhere. vminnovations has good prices on discus series amplifiers.
  6. I guarantee at least one of the posters in this thread was curious about the RF Ibeam.
  7. Who cares? Maybe the dude wants to play around with some bass shakers.
  8. I read a thread @ caraudio.com about the same thing. That guy bought his amp from sonicelectronix as well. I'm guessing they got a bad shipment of dsc1500.1's. Just holler at them monday and they'll surely replace the amp.
  9. Just an option; You could wire 5 in parallel to .8 ohms and get yourself a 2 channel amp that's 1 ohm stable. Could I ask why you're interested in using 10 bass shakers?
  10. It looks as if PSI's website is down atm. Anyways, here's their myspace. Look through the pics to see some of Dave's work. http://www.myspace.com/fixmyspeaker
  11. I already gave you PSI's website: www.fixmyspeaker.com. They can do all types of crazy stuff to your sub. color options cone options dustcap options logo options If you want a neon pink sub with a poop brown dustcap, PSI can make it happen...
  12. I'd go all out if I decided to pay PSI for a recone. Those guys can make your sub look absolutely ridiculous...
  13. It depends. When you burn a tinsel lead, it can cause a lot of damage. If the damage is SOLELY the tinsel and everything else is 100% fine, it's a cheap fix that you could do yourself. EDIT: What the term D-leads is referring to is a direct connect lead. This is usually done with 10 or 8 awg wire and it eliminates the need for terminals...
  14. OP, you could also hit up www.fixmyspeaker.com. They offer a ton of upgrade options and do phenominal work...
  15. "LET THE RIGHT ONE IN is one of the best vampire movies of all time." I was being serious when I said that.
  16. fyi, LET THE RIGHT ONE IN has a score of 97% on rottentomatoes.com.
  17. Oh yeah, don't believe the reviews on imdb.com. They want you to believe it's the typical, lame ass vampire love movie. It's not. Not even close. They even get the most mundane information wrong.
  18. It was released in 2008 and I want to say it came from Sweden. I don't remember exactly, but I'll go with Sweden.
  19. LET THE RIGHT ONE IN is one of the best vampire movies of all time...
  20. It's a good movie. Hit Girl is in the "LET THE RIGHT ONE IN" remake too.
